It might just be that this hasn't been implemented yet, but I'd really like it if some of the hazards you find can be used against enemies. I set up some saw blade traps outside my stronghold only to find that the monsters walked right over them. Alas. EDIT: I forgot I wanted to mention this too, and it would so in the same section: Inferior brains should be able to be cooked and eaten. Haha. Waste of good meat!
I think its annoying that enimes doesn't take damage from traps thats in the game already only lava or poisen pols. If the npcs should take damage then the npcs would need a upgrade so they can avoid the traps and that you have to trick them to the trap. Also if it is dark the npc shouldn't be able to see the traps. p.s. small fact if you eat brains or rabbits over a time in real life then you can die
A reply on brains: I think it would be rather neat if I could craft an AI character that could defend my base. Using brains of course. However there would need to be some tweaking to the brain (turning the brain half mechanical) in order to make the brain (that you took from a mob) to be friendly to the player who crafted it. There should be something to keep the cyborg monster from being overpowered or from being placed near another's base. The thing should only be activated when another (not the player who crafted it) is near, the robot would be activated, and do something to the unknown player to make it stay away. Either stunning, killing, or throwing far away from the area is a good way of keeping other players at bay. There should be certain tiers of these cyborgs. These things should be able to run faster than the player unless the robot is outside the area it is gaurding. This thing should also be able to slowly walk* towards unknown players within viewing range (includes max viewing distance) *Emphasis on walk. (This will be based on what tier they are [how far they walk,if they stun or kill, etc.]) The things should also be easy to kill if a unknown player is the same tier as them. This is my thought on brains and if there should be mechanical gaurdians of your stuff (I.E. you don't have to like it) and I think it would be a nice addition to the game. *side-note: These things should be fairly expensive to make in order for them not to be spammable and there should be something preventing people from placing these things next to other's stuff
It's funny you should say that, because when I first saw the schematics for the Tier 2 boss I thought I'd unlocked the ability to craft my own robots. Not quite!

my first thought when i saw it in the game was oh man Soo cool i can build my own robot but then i saw the size of of it and i immdiatly thought this has to be boss and i was right i was soo disapointed. i mean it is logical that the brain wont kill you because you stole it but, its not logic to get prosessor from it that you never did put in it i mean you made it out of 90% steel and 10% brain didt even put some copper in it for the electronics or any glass for the glass dome on its head
