Transferring parts of the universe file between updates?

    So I have a space station in the current version that I have put a lot of time into building, and would really like to hang onto it after the bounty hunter update drops (that is if the universe file gets changed?updated which I imagine it will).

    I imagine this would be possible somehow, but I have no experience in doing so and was looking for some insight.
