I'd like to see large (or small) trading posts, space stations that serve to create commerce between races. A place where it'll be more probable to find more exotic items and possibly some quests or events to shape the fun of exploration. It's probably more of a role-playing experience, but I still love that scifi feeling of having a more lively space outpost. Of course, if there's going to be a chance that the player's own station could have potential to become one itself, even better! Alright, that's a bit too ambitious, but I'd love to hear of any ideas in this direction.
That would actually be really, really awesome. Maybe you would have to buy stuff from these space stations to add to your own station?
I like the concept, but wouldn't it be more likely you find rare and exotic items in a black market than in a regular trading post?
I'd like to see trading where you could drop off items you dont need, and people on the planet come around and look at your items. They'll either give you an offer for the item, being it another item or pixels. You could accept or decline these offers from either your station or in a trading post. ~Jake
Uh... I guess the lab? Or maybe turrets for protection from space pirates, maybe places for NPCs to live or trade you stuff :/ i guess thinking of these things would take a lot of time, and they'd have to be pretty unique
I'd certainly like roving traders and mercenaries. Well, it depends how you want to do it. You could organise very strict, lawful trading deals... or maybe shadier things.
