Now, you have to understand why you aren't getting replies.

1: Some dislike and distrust hamachi
2: People have been known to steal things from someones ship on MP
3: They may not have the item. I think I might but the above 2 reasons are certainly potential issues.

Edit: the post below me mentions surface chests, which i would share where i found the pilots goggles if i remembered where i found them.

If however you know a server where everyone spawns on the same planet I would trade my pilot goggles for something. I would have to see them all first. So wiki time.

    ^ What he said.

You might consider looking in the gigantic "Coordinates" thread, and doing a thread search for Pilot Goggles. The best way to "trade" is to actually give someone the coordinates where you found a surface chest (NOT in a building or room) containing the item they want, and they give you the coordinates of a surface chest where they found pilot goggles.

This way, it's a lot safer than using a credit card at Target.

    1. I understand this. I'm very patient.
    2. I don't expect to do a transaction on the ships. You can just mark coordinates of any random planet, preferably Alpha as it's the most accessible, meet there without partying and make the trade.
    3. Well...obviously.

I understood the limitations when I posted this. But it doesn't really hurt to try, and I can be very patient. Hell, I even expected to be scammed from this, as someone could just ask for items, I drop them, and they'll just run off with them without giving anything. Everything on this list is expendable. Even if I lost all of it I wouldn't really care. As stated, all of this was saved for the purpose of giving away.

@Akado: In my experience costume items from surface chests have been random. There's no guarantee I would get Pilot Goggles from the same chest someone else got them from.

Sadly I have all those items listed, but I do have Pilot Goggles. They aren't that special, man.

If you can't find anyone today ill trade with you tomorrow if you can find a server. Hamachi messes with my computers ability to connect to my router.

Hackers being able to spawn in itenz, has, sadly, ruined any possibility of an actual trading environment, like with terraria.

Who said they were special? I just want them and haven't found them.

Thought they were part of a set or something, my mistake. But they are rare - I just found the goggles yesterday, along with a wedding dress in a chest protected by a Glitch king who also dropped a rare shield/crown. It was a good haul. But good on you for not giving in to mods. I'd only recommend the one that fixes the inability to land on volcanic and magma planets so you can actually explore them.

Willing to risk the security of his network and computer for the moral value of not using mods to get pilot goggles.
That is some serious dedication to 8 bits of data.

Of course what makes it more interesting is
there is no way to confirm the legitimacy of the pilot goggles you are receiving..

Hence if anyone wants to help this poor guy out - give your self pilot googlies via default treasure pool and give it to him.

They are actually part of a set. http://starbounder.org/Vanity_Armor has it listed as the Pilot Set. Despite their rarity, I just figured the raw quantity of items would make up for it. You can ask for however much you like with this. I honestly don't care about any of these items.

You're really overcomplicating this, as if this is difficult to do/wait for. As this thread is up, I continue playing Starbound normally with no worries. Do I care that much if I never get them? No. But what do I gain from doing nothing? I just decided to post this and see what happens. I've got nothing to lose by posting this thread.

    I never said you did.
I just pointed out the obvious facts.

So then my question is...if you're not going to contribute, why are you wasting your time here?

You mean like all the other contributory posts?

I do believe I am the only one here who did offer a solution where you didn't use mods to get what you want.
But you know. Some people hate hard truthes.

If you don't mind a bit of exploration, I've been saving interesting locations from the Coordinates Thread, and unless their data was wrong, someone listed a set of Pilot's Goggles at:

Delta Tau Pup 7192 I a (tiny desert world)
    X: -96686746, Y: -85265302

I looked up the coordinates and it does exist, so that's part of the battle. Also, according to my notes, there's also some Hiker's Trousers and a Glitch castle there as well, so I'll be heading that way eventually since all I need to finish the Hiker's set is those pants. Hope that this nets you the item you're looking for! :)

Haven't played MP, so I have not traded with MP, so excuse this ignorant question.
For safe trading can you not:
    1) With your 'good' character, put items you want to trade on a random planet remembering the coords.
    2) Log out with 'good' character, and log in with a mule character (a character who has nothing to lose)
    3) go to coords and collect items you want to trade, then trade.
I don't know what you can and cant do in MP, so I am curious.

You can do that yes. Most people don't want to put in the effort
