As a first post, I'd like to introduce you to my new set of boots, bought only recently from a local shopping center. They're called Tracked Boots. Tracked Boots are very useful to have on. Let me give you some more detail... When pressing 'D' twice the boots automatically start tracking your steps as you walk along the terrains, highlighting the path with an illuminated red. To stop seeing the track when you're walking, press 'E' twice and same to put it back into view again. Now when cave exploring, mining, or whatever things you do in Starbound that take you through windy and loopy paths, the Tracked Boots are the shoewear for you, honestly recommended. Appearance: Tracket Boots are dark-grey in colour and has a trim of white shooting at the side. Just any ordinary space trainer, to be honest.
Well in Terraria, there were always them large caves which had countless paths that you could easily get stuck in, this is probably only for the people who have that problem. Thanks for the help.
Just wanted to start a suggestion thread with placeable beacons. Your idea is better! This would be extremely useful!
That would be very handy for mining. Maybe if the boots could just place 5 different beacons that would suit just fine.
What do you mean? To start with, they're not beacons, secondly what do you mean by 5 different beacons?
Like way points/markers that mark a point on the map. And when you wanna travel to it is gives you a route.
its a unique idea, but I see that having to press "D" twice a strange choice, I'd suggest "S" if anything. But other than that I still don't see these getting all that much use, since even if you do get lost, you can just head up.
