On topic though, really any people coming from the any sort of youtube style let's play is only good, more money towards the developers from people buying the game will only equal more content and more future investment into this game and other games the developers will release. I say let them come, Starbound is going to be one hell of a ride - the more the better.

 

I typically do it to see the player(s)'s humorous reactions and commentary. xD

Or learn some things that I may have not known.

Exactly! I wanna see loads of Let's Plays of Starbound up on Youtube when the game is released. I'm really looking forward to it, and I know the rest of the team is too.

Ahhh that's good. I had a feeling they where going to go for Starbound after they kept getting frustrated at the gathering in Terraria. It seems like they'll be able to bring about some great things in a Starbound playthrough.

The great thing as well is that they'll be able to do freaking free advertizment for Starbound. Which is always good considering how many people watch their entertainment.

Are people really complaining about how it will bring in more people? Ick. I find it pathetic when fandoms whine about how they want their game to be niche and not played by the 'omg popularz' people. Hopefully such additude doesn't stick towards newcombers who find the game thanks to their fun little playthrough.

 

This is awesome, I love their Terraria let's play series. =)

 

I'm looking forward to the series, but I hope they can make it unique in it's own right, as opposed to "Jesse and TB play Terraria" with a new coat of paint.

On the topic of bandwaggoning, I think we're safe, although it could turn sour if certain other let's players start turning up.
