Sweet! Yes, it does deserve its own thread. I love the menus so far, it's coming along nicely. And I like flavor text and tooltips, it adds more to the game.

Awesome. Tooltips sounds like they might take quite a bit of time to make, not hard just time consuming :<

Hey this kinda shows that this isnt the only tool you can use! Unless i shoulda guessed that you can build pickaxes or something

 

Yeh the Devs confirmed picks and stuff. Destroying stuff with this is slow, but you can do it from longer ranges.

 

I know Bartwe was working on fixing item tooltips on his stream recently. Looks like he finished.

 

Looks great! Both an image of the item and a detailed description. Well executed.

 

I like the blown up picture of the item. Though I doubt every item will have this

 

You should really replace the trillian picture link in the OP with something else, such as imgur. Otherwise it overloads the dev's thing and that isn't good.
I've already reuploaded it here, just in case.

 

Looking pretty good, hopefully it shows us the comparison between equipped items and items in inventory as well. Coupled with the tooltip not going overboard and covering like half the screen in an attempt to describe every single attribute of an item.

So, I then wonder about the items which are procedurally generated. How will they provide tooltips to them without it coming out weird?

 

By showing a description based the stats given by the random parts I suppose.

 

Well I was thinking along the lines of descriptions, but that may not be necessarily the case.
