With the recent daily update on locker text, I was thinking of possible solutions. I think an elegant solution would be to make certain items able to be toggled between states. In this case, the locker item could be toggled between locker with description and locker without description using, say, a middle mouse button click. Why use a click instead of an option in the options menu, I hear you ask? Well, you could toggle any number of things. For example: Bed - Made / unmade Spotlight - on / off Bookshelf - tidy, ordered / messy, missing books Fireplace/campfire/torches - lit / unlit Shops/stalls - full stock / sold out / sign says open / closed Chemistry/alchemy set - bubbling and foaming / empty These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. Really, any placed object could be toggled like this. Of course, the obvious downside is the required programming time for the code and the nearly doubled workload for the artists, so perhaps it could be implemented for some quest related items at first, then be added to other items post release. What do you guys/gals think?
