There's a point were itd be nice for them to try to give us an ETA for when the beta might be out since they did raise $1,000,000 in preorders....

then again knowing how the internet rages, if they do say a date and dont meet it then theyll get alot of people mad.

Selection bias. The stuff shown to us in the live feeds has a tendency to be the stuff that's sufficiently complete to be worth showing. Conversely, the stuff that isn't sufficiently complete is not shown, so your viewpoint of the development's progress is skewed. Think how little content, compared to the total sum of planned content, the video actually covered. It's probably not the case that all you see is all there is, that's worst case, but assuming the best case scenario is likely to lead you to disappointment.

 

This. They aren't going to steam gameplay that is completely broken and unplayable. The only gameplay we see is stuff that looks nearly finished, however the features that aren't present are likely very rigid and broken as of right now.

I kind of agree. Even though it's harsh and fanboys will flame you for being impatient, with all of our money on the table it would be nice if they gave something more concrete, even if the date is far off.

 

We have expected them to "put the beta release date in <insert media here>" since a month and a half ago.

 

He used the word hopefully, which doubles as "probably not".

 

I'm totally confused....They said the trailer was going to put out yesterday. I cant find it.

 

Its more likely that there will not be a trailer for some time.

A little off topic, Kinda missing that 15 dollars of mine.
