its just a single death animation he was testing. Don't quote me on this, but I think it was supposed to be a "child friendly" death animation.

Personally, I don't like it at all, but if it really is just like a "not bloody" animation for kids, sure why not. I can understand that.

I don't think someone will upload it into Youtube any soon tho. But the stream was great, very great.

 

I liked it so much better when the monsters burst into ten pieces when they died. Now they just poof. Where's the fun in that?

Anyway, awesome stream! Lots of cool features it looks like. I'm really interested in the mentioned config files... hopefully it's as easy to mod stuff as Tiy says it is!

Eh, that was a placeholder effect and the gibs didn't look good, especially flying apart like they did. They could've refined it a little and made it okay, but I like this explosion of smoke, it's a classy way of dealing with monster death, another thing much like Windwaker.

he likes a lot of the 8-bit kinda style music. I don't really know how to explain it as I'm really not a music person at all. I guess its just very video game like if I had to try and say it.
