I love my idiot Floran cavewoman beating the galaxy into submission with a log on a stick.

A lot of the humour in the game is just great.

I love the effort made to put detail into the game from a racial perspective. The descriptions for each race on furniture and stuff crack me up.
I like that each different race brings something new to the table lore-wise. Apex aren't just dumb strong monkeymen. Florans aren't peaceful plantbros. Medieval robots.

One thing that I think could be improved is the inventory interface. I'd like to be able to change the dimensions of it to make it less tall and more long because sometimes the item description boxes don't fit my laptop screen.

It was hard to think of something I didn't like though.

That is a fair point so here is an idea.

When crafting let us use pixels or resources.

That lets people like me riddle worlds with tunnels like Shuddie-mel and its dholes, and people like you can focus on exploring and killing, while opening up paths rather than closing them off.

I really don't get your issue with pixels. They serve serveral functions in the game design. They are both currency and crafting component and give motivation for both exploration and killing monsters. I particularly LIKE the fact that crafting requires both, and so doing as you suggest would worsen the game experience in my opinion.

I find the lore on most objects pretty funny, along with some of the creatures in the game.
I don't like how some ores are a pain to get to. (Mostly copper ore right now, oddly enough starting new characters, it takes me forever to get copper, but I'll have a nice stack of iron, silver, and gold. Sometimes I'll even have platinum ore before copper. >.>)
I want to make more weapons between the ones you can make. Just to spice it up a bit, ya know.

I love that modding is already available and decently easy to do.
    I dislike the tier system.
I would like to see planets/dungeons become more unique, not just visually but mechanically as well.

I dislike them because it makes no sense to me. Look, if you like exploring, why do you need a mechanical weight to do so? So long as pixels have a use you still gain, and while exploration needs to be better incentive I haven't seen a compelling argument that this is the way to do it.

I dislike how it makes me stop brought up short with all the minerals and makings of some new item, and have to go farm them to actually finish the project. I loathe the way they then pay gated the new more high tech items behind them.

Now perhaps this can be solved by better selling the lore, or offering other ways to generate them, or perhaps by my proposed solution of allowing a choice whether to use them or gather resources.

But right now I find their mandatory use, paired with the heavy costs of banking, and the death penalty to be a flow breaker and source of frustration more than fun. Would rather see them be the sizzle not the steak.

If this is representative of the final state of the economy in game I can't say I'll be recommending it to friends.

I like how some planets are enormous, large enough to accommodate 2 villages and/or dungeons.
I don't like the tedium of traveling across said planets to get back to a deep cave I found.
Implement a way to allow us to change where we warp to on the planet surface, or even better: Allow warping underground using a beacon.

Ok great. I disagree, and from reading around the forums pretty heavily, I can see that you're in the minority (thankfully). Why do we need additional incentive to explore? because it's a game and like many, many games which came before this one, Starbound's designers have realized that having this kind of system enhances the experience of exploration. Also the way that they've designed it, you can almost passively collect pixels as you do everything in the game -- they're everywhere.

The pure, unbridled potential this game holds is something to behold. I hold nothing but high hopes for this entire project.

I like having my own spaceship
I don't like having the same spaceship as every other apex and what not.
They should give us customization of our ships, much like our characters.

Agreed. Make most stuff able to be scanned and cloned in 3D Printer for pixels, but you have to obtain/craft it atleast once though normal materials to scan it.

Was the 'I can see that you're in the minority (thankfully)' really nessicary? so depressing to see cheap shots in what had been a civil discussion. no need to reply, I think both our positions are clear. I was just hoping for something more than 'But I like it'. Can see that you cant disagree without turning it personal.

Agreed with you. I offered what would be my ´´fix`` above. I would like to hear other person ideas.

One more thing I realized that I love... being able to mod the game.

I totally agree, Ishiga-san. There's so much potential for the devs to expand upon. Ship travel, combat, custom constructions on land, base-building incentives. It's such an exciting skeleton of a game for them to build on.
