To spoiler or not to spoiler, that is the question.

I understand this sentiment
with a game all about exploration knowing what is out there already might ruin it for some people
I find this rather ironic since your clan job is gathering information
although you should be a player first and a clan member second honestly

If a beta key is given to me I will not reject it
but if there is no NDA I will respect these wishes and not spoil

 

I'd recommend keeping things in the refrigerator

 

I'm too curious to say I don't want to be spoilered about the game. I definetly want info on the game and see some more screenshots (and gameplay), but I don't want too much information, that ruined a game for me once and I will not let that happen to me again.

I want more info on the gameplay and stuff, and more info on what to expect the game will be like. Although game content would be nice too, I rather not be spoiled that way.

Kind of like instructions, warning signs, etc.

 

I know it is probably not the best habit but I usually read every wiki article about a game before I buy/play it because I hate going into games unprepared. So I'll be the first to say I want them to reveal every bit of info possible. :^|

edit: I guess they could keep some really important things secret, but I think you know what I mean.

For those who don't want to be spoilered.

 

Here's the thing, they're not going to give us the game out of the blue with no info whatsoever. We are going to get "a lot" of info until the release date. Now, whether that info will be experience-breaking, that is the question. It won't, though. They'll show us core stuff like they have been doing for this whole time - showing us how the engine works in terms of random design things (NPC visual randomness, for instance) and some interface, but I don't think they'll really spoil anything for us. Regardless of what we ask them to tell us.

Well, question answered I guess. Kind of expected it though, very few times do the majority want the extreme options.

 

I'm gonna sit on the fence and go with 'some'. I'd like to know what I'm getting into, what I can look forward to, what things I can expect in the game - but I'd also like an equal amount of the game to be surprise.

 

Yeah, the odd picture to build hype but making nothing definite is probably a good system =D

 

I would like some information to be revealed (mechanics, examples of what you MAY find, examples of worlds of all difficulties), but I don't want to know much about the story (however detailed it may be) nor, in fact, do I want to know everything about the game ever (HA, like it's even possible).

 

I think that a bit of Info will be enough, not more then that, since then, i feel like it would take the fun of "discovering" the game.
