To be honest, are you going for n00bie mode first?

I never go easy first

 

I normally start on easy then work my way up from there when it comes to story I like to take it easy but once I feel I need a challange I'll step it up

 

I like to pick the normal/medium difficulty, seeing as that's usually how the game is "meant" to be played.

 

Noobie mode?
None of us have played the game yet, arnt we all gonna be in "noobie" mode to begin with anyway?

If there is a difficulty, medium whilst learning the ropes and then hard when comfortable.

 

If I'm not mistaken there has been shots, and video of the 'character selection' screen where the difficulty did indeed read 'n00bie'.
That's not too say that it won't change nothing is set in stone.

 

hard mode

 

If you guys are talking about Softcore, Mediumcore, and Hardcore and what you lose with each respective mode, then the difficulty doesn't really change, the only thing that changes is the necessity to survive, and what happens when you die.

Each planet will have it's own randomly generated difficulty, making every planet require a different play-style.

 

I will play n00bie at first to get hang of the game, then hard mode.

 

I think I may play hardcore, if I can easily create a new character in the same world and journey to regain my ancestors' earthly belongings. Not sure about that, I die in Terraria from falling too often.
