Personally I think it would be cool if the Glitch had a couple more additions to their character creation that people would recognize. Perhaps special helmets from a couple of musicians? If you catch my drift... I was thinking (if you didn't guess already) that it would be incredible if the helmets that Daft Punk wear could be added to the game. The helmets could either be an article of clothing you could purchase or find them in Glitch Villages. I whipped up a little pixel art that somewhat shows what they could look like in-game. I know it isn't the EXACT style of Starbound but its close enough: Perhaps in addition to the duo there could be more easter egg-esque like Robocop or C3PO. Something recognizable!
