Tin Cans of "Primordial Soup"

Hm... This idea relates to another one for me now that I managed to comprehend the complex simplicity of it.

What if you open the can, expecting a snack, when the thing inside the can is waiting to be released, expecting a snack as well?
And then, when the can is open and it's too late, you understand that you have doomed the world.

Us buzzlians tried making primordial soup once, but after our sloppy eating habits meant it got all over the place we stopped.

Funnily enough we actually dropped a load on this blue-green planet, though it was more craggy and volcanic back then but that soon changed, we got a fine from the intergalactic league of buzzilians though for littering.

 

I know some people find puns completely stupid and not funny at all. (Hence the "in theory"). I, however, love a good pun. Probably more than is healthy. I will go out of my way to steer a conversation to where I can make a stupid pun, and my friends glare at me every time I do.

 

We're like brother's from another mother then. If the world punned more it would be a much better place. Make puns not war man!

 

Why do everyone hate puns so much?
I find them punny.
