~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Hi everyone! I'm Timid, and thisss is my home! I was never a huge fan of the default house, so I've spent more time than I'd like to admit making one that suited my personal style a bit more. I've used what I could from existing game files as I'm clearly not a pixel artist, so somethings I made myself are a bit derpy and I apologize. I did what I could! I hope someone else can enjoy my creation aswell! c: ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ I'm finally back after a long while! I haven't had much free time since I originally made this post, but over the last week I've been very sick and it gave me the free time to look into Stardew Valley again since the new update! I have finally gotten around to making a stable that matches my home. However, I'd like to give credit to the original creator. A lovely person re-did the roof on the stable, making it line up with the roof of the house and match more all around! You can check their thread out here. They have some really amazing stuff, so definitely check out the thread! After sampling the roof I added the floor from the house porch, color matched the roof, changed the hay to a more greeny color, colored the blanket, cleaned up the shading on the back wall and pillars, made new shadows for the items inside the stable, removed the window, and threw a cute little horseshoe onto the wall! Also... What originaly brought me to Maleha's thread was their amazing greenhouse. I'm a huge fan of the overgrown look it has, and the coloring really suits my style. I've included it along with a modified version of it, taking the frame and ivy from Maleha's broken greenhouse, and adding the class from the default greenhouse. I then cleaned up the frame a bit, removing the rust spots that were there. Again, you can find their thread here. Their repaired greenhouse looks amazing aswell! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Downloads! To install, simply download one of the files below and replace the original file located in the Content/Buildings folder in your Stardew Valley directory! c: Click here to for downloads! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Credit! Super duper lots of credit to @Maleha for their amazing amazing work. Check out their thread here to see their really cool stuff!
It's really beautiful! Really would like to use it, except I would recolor into something pinkish. xD But I can't wait to the full version of this.
Thankyou everyone for all the positive feedback. o: I spent some time after I posted this going through the other houses and seperating them into layers so it would be easier to modify them when I got the time. I have class tonight, but when I get home I plan on working on this and getting them uploaded. And @SasuraUchiha I had planned on changing the green to a burgundy color for my mom, as she plays aswell. So once I have that done, and everything easily modifiable, I'll def be taking requests. c: I just ask that you bear with me, as this is the first time I've ever done any work with sprites or well.. anything like this at all before. o: I hope you all have an awesome day/night! c: zZzzzZ~
I personally love the green version It's my favourite colour. I'm just so impressed by the attention to detail.
that is a super cute house, and in my favourite colour too, i'll definitely be using it myself when it's done!
I love this !! Can't wait for a release. I like the green - and purple would also be a cool option as well !
Hello everyone, I spent some time once I got home seperating all the tier'd houses into different layers in photoshop and Iput together what I think is a really lovely tier 1 house. o:It could use a bit of a cleaning, the hanging basket could usesome love, and the deck should really get patched up. Some weeds are even making their way up through that pesky hole. Again, I'd appreciate any feedback you guys have, positive and negative. I really want to make something that more than just I myself can enjoy. I'm off to work on the last tier, and then I'll be editing the tier 2 house, as when I made it, it wasn't organized at all. And thereare a few stray pixels I'd like to patch up. c:Oh, and I added a larger version in the spoiler!
*sees alert, swoops in* Ooooooooo! Loving your progress so far. I agree that the flower basket on the base house could use some love, more colours in the flowers, perhaps? I also think the circular attic window in the base house might need a little more of a frame around it. It looks as though it might fall out at any moment on an unsuspecting farmer.
Looks really nice. And I believe it's supposed to look like that, raeneviqil. I started to work on houses for myself and I edited the first house, so that it looks way more rundown, than the original, too. I can't wait to see your third house. Really looking forward to it.
Yes indeed, it is supposed to look a teenyyy bit rundown.. Since it's been neglected all these years after your poor old grandfather passed away and left the property to you. o:
Ahh, then I shall embrace the element of danger from splinters and possibly lethal falling windows, LOL! But yes, I can't wait to see the third as well. I have been prepping my farm to welcome this amazing house once released.
So after my last post I got to work on re-doing the tier 2 house. It's basically the same, but I created it in a more organized manner, so future edits will be much easier. I'll re-upload pictures of the tier 1 and 2 houses tomorrow. The only difference is the roof color, which is now a litttleee bit darker, which you'll notice in the tier 3 picture. o: As for the tier 3 house, I wasn't quite sure what to do with all the wall space honestly. I changed the supporting pillar a little bit, adding more texture to it I think. I also moved the railing of the deck over to the end of the wall, as the original place really urked me. >.< Like before, suggestions, pleaseee! lol Larger image in the spoiler!
It's beautiful. I especially love the chair at the veranda. Thought about adding a bit of decoration too, but was concerned, because the space is walkable.
This is really beautiful. The detail you have is great (that hanging flower basket *-*)! I have a question though, will you be making the coop/barn/stable/silo to match the house so that they don't seem out of place?
This is nice! Though I feel like it could be a bit too dark on the farm? Would have to see it in person, I guess. Also, I think I saw that your spouse can stand at the right where the chair is on some screenshots? I checked on reddit: http://i.imgur.com/vRSLYEX.jpg Now's the question if that's gonna bother somebody, of course.
