Tier 3 (and under) questions [spoilers]

Post tier 2:

So... I made a robot thinking it would be my friend, and it killed me in one hit. With a lot of effort I eventually killed it (yay!)... anyway the new recipes require titanium, is this something you just mine? I've seen diamonds and platinum (in chests only) but haven't seen any ores higher than gold in the ground. Even with my hellavator on a threat 13 planet. I assume people are somehow finding these? Ideas where to look?

Tier 2:

I found blueprints for Neat Welder's helmet and Handy Space helmet, but both require Matter block. What? Where can I find these?

Also, how can you easily switch between two locked in techs?

Also, what is "cell materia" used for?

Tier 1:

I know I'm forgetting some questions so I'll be back.

 

To switch between techs, first equip up to 4. Then in your inventory the techs will be there and you just click the one you want to currently use.

Matter Block? That is one question that is a mystery to us all right now.

And how did you re re-summon the Robot? I made 1, got 1 shot as it went through a wall. Made another, it bugged out and dissapeared from my inventory...

And now I have my 3rd robot, and it won't let me use it. Says to take it to the surface first... what does this mean!? I can't progress.

 

I didn't have to re-summon it... I just beamed down and killed it. It was still there after I fought it, maybe you have one already spawned?

Normally that error message means you're trying to place the robot underground.

 

Well, it surely is gone and I am placing it on the surface, even in the air says the same thing, maybe I'm bugged and can't go to Tier 3 now.

 

Well, I just have the same problem, I killed the robot, but I buried it in dirt No much use anyway, since without at least a lvl20 armor, everything will oneshot you in gamma sector.
Also looking for the matter block, but even with that, armor lvl would go up to 16 / 17, wont be of much use in gamma.

 

titanium seems to replace iron in the higher level planets (40+ veins common in 30) of course its fairly useless without platinum witch seems to not spawn as i havnt found a single piece in 5+ hours of mining

 

Foeburner, I see what you mean. I now have over 200 titanium and still am deficient in gold and zero platinum (aside from chests).

@Lazagne, everything oneshots me, but I can hold my own. Titanium isn't too rare and I got a titanium sword and can now one time things on level 23 planets.

 

ya i got a couple level 30 weapons but stuck on armor without platinum the game has no become who lands a hit first gets to live

 

I have found diamonds (5 lol) inside of a random sand/gravel pile that i hit with my weapon (flat stormkisser) which destroys tiles (like a pickaxe), and that was in my starting planet...about halfway down

 

it was probably a chest that got taken out by the landslide

 

It was confirmed by a dev that Matter Blocks aren't in at the moment but will be added in tonight.

 

lol unlikely...it dropped diamond ore..not diamonds (i don't blame you if that changes your opinion...because i initially wrote just "diamonds")

 

you find diamond ore in the chest ive found enough ore for 5 diamonds but only one actual diamond

 

So... I've officially found platinum ore in the ground. On a level 40 planet.

 

ya it seems to spawn on the 35-40 in sector x

 

about diamonds, what to do with em?
i'm still running around level 1 planets with a legendary cthulu(GOD i hate that name
its hard to remember) sword and i later found 5 diamond which are now just sitting in my ship locker

 

wont be able to use em on anything until you get a plat pick, at least not that ive seen

 

okay thanks for the info, not too far away then i guess since i already have a silver pick.
gonna go to level 2-3 planets when i get back from school~

 

MC I didn't get a diamond pick till just now on level 36 planets.

TheFoeburner, have you figured out how to make ferozium? What table do you need the molten anvil doesn't have it?

 

Alright, so I got that all worked out thanks to the PSA about it. But are there no impervium swords O.O Oh found them, just way down.
