Question for all you Threat level 10 veterans. What do you do once you have conquered the TL10 planets?

Also, what is the best way to heal at this level?

Just curious, hopefully when they release the game there are some high level bosses and/or dungeons, but for now I'm not sure what I should be doing

lol you don't heal at that level. You just play it out till you get murdered. Unless you want to sit there pounding back stimpacks or lay in bed for ten minutes. Not much to do after Tier 10 planets but continue exploring and testing. People are posting stuff that I had never even seen, and I'm sure there is even more out there.

Collect everything, then make the best base evar. 'Tis what I'm doing.

    Also experiment with thine cookables.

Reroll or wait until beta is over.. everything after tier 4 is completely unfinished and is bound to be boring. There's going to be nothing to do.

I'm personally trying to find and complete the Terrifying set of vanity items.

I find that (some) cooked foods provide MUCH more substantial health regen than bandages or bedtime. I kinda like it, since it makes food feel important.

Right now there admittedly isn't a lot to do once you get to the X sector, but that's to be expected. I just enjoy exploring and building and seeing what I can come up with. Did you know you can use the paint tool on glass blocks? I've been playing around with stained glass window designs. :)

Wait for the next wipe then get to level 10 again.

Yup. Everything past the Jelly king is pretty much unbalanced. Only just unlocked Rubium* but my hammer I picked up on a level 7 planet one shots lvl 8 monsters. Still lots more to come. I rate maybe take a week or two break and come in with a reroll

Quit till the next update in which you restart to check what has been changed or improved.

There's no point legitimately playing your character when it's going to get wiped, so once you reach end-game you just leave your feedback and wait.

I don't have a whole lot to say about this topic, since I'm not at T10 planets yet, but I just want to say that I don't understand why people say this? Why bother playing at all if you're taking that attitude. Personally, I think it's more reason to make the most of the character while it lasts. Build something really really awesome. Put time and effort into it. Even though it's going to get wiped, you get to have fun doing it.

This is also an option. That was my plan in a way. But my steam backlog is scary.

Lose the gigantic high tech base I was building, all my stocked up supplies and start a new character because Starbound decided to crash and nuke my character save file in the process. :/

collecting solarium to fuel the ship, big guns. also, its pretty easy to tweak the bandage file to improve healing.bandages tend to get more and more useless the higher the tier you go, so i tweaked mine to improve healing.

Is there a list of healing foods? I need to get some because Nanoweave bandages and Red Stimpacks are getting useless.

Agreed. I know there are other threads on this, but honestly bandages and such should be percentage based. Like bandages heal 10% etc. And don't get me started on beds.

When your in X sector you need to use food to heal. You need to find ingredients and craft them into 3/4 item recipes. Like chili for example is meat chunks, tomatoes and chilli. This will nearly give you a full 500 heal + speed boost and jump boost.

bandages are terrible... But seriously I spend my time now exploring for recipes.

Food is your friend here, all the recipes that uses at least 2 different ingredients heal you by A LOT. Still need to try the 3 ingredients one.

I've started a second character cause in my first one I've reached Tier10 and crafted the ultimate set. There's tho still a shit ton of stuff to do like for example:

    1. Build a proper base (my advice is to build it next to a village of the race you prefer so you can get ingredients for the recipes you have reliably)

    2. Chase all the codexes to read all the background and the stories that we have

    3. Get as many pets as you can/want

    4. Explore the Billions of planets that are in the map

Remember obviously that the game it's still beta, I'm so stoked about how much content this game will have after it is released properly...
