Not every person, including human, abides by symmetry; look at history in architecture in various cultures.

But with that said I have to agree with darklight as it does appear to be that grey paint...

Figured that portion was painted, messed a little with that tool myself making a small well out of some king's villa. He murdered me I murdered and tore down his house to reduce it to a well; water included.

Anyway symmetry is 50-50 in the crowds of people. Each to their own. Anyone whom twitches at the sight of asymmetry will probably not much like what I build at times. ><

You're just need to look at it from a different point of view. It's bilaterally symmetrical, like an animal. If you looked at it from above, and split it in half the long way, from front to back, it would be symmetrical. Like this:
