    I've always dreamed of having a mobile fortress in a game. Sadly, I seriously doubt that something like this would be implemented but I would be the happiest person in the world if it was.

    I kinda sorta take back my last "My base" thing. I now know exactly what my Starbound Homeworld base will be called:

    Rupture! Because its gonna have more leaks than... well, something that's very very leaky. Even the leaks will have leaks! Oh joy, your name is Water Pressure!

    I'd simply make a naval ship very similar to an aircraft carrier (like the one provided) floating across a large body of water very far away from any shore. There it'd provide living quarters, research labs, observatory, docking and take-off points. Etc.
