Oh also, I mostly open chests just to delete the contents and take the chest. For me, the real loot are the chests themselves.

 

i usually just take the chests themselves becase otherwise, i'll just get disappointed when i pass by it again in the future

 

I might accept that reasoning if it's what the devs said, in which case I'd yell at them to lower the number of chests or make chests have tiers meaning only certain chest have great loot. In the latter case I wouldn't be expecting leet loot from town chests, but as it stands now nearly all chests contain garbage.
