This game has become near-impossible to start

It's rumored back walls or doors prevent spawning though. Some sort o. "Sealed room" mechanic.

 

Its alright my man, I do understand your pain when it comes to the birds though but yeah, I don't think DPS is totally useless but I feel its not as important in the beginning and the bow saved my butt a trillion times when I was been hounded by legions of fire-breathing Zubats.
I highly doubt the devs are going to leave flying mobs the way they are now however.

 

Drones etc. What does the past have to with anything?

 

whell i was dealth a 2sided hand i spawned on a planet with high dmg agro monsters and no tree's near my starting point so i mined stone and vines on my startingpoint crafted around 20 bandages and went to the left , luckly i found a few tree's and could build the pick & the axe and then i got superlucky and found an apex parcour dungeon a little furthur down the road, i had to fly trough my bandages thx to the mobs but it payed of by finding the dash tech there. then i was all about farming coal copper and iron and dashing away from annything i couldn't handle eventually u get enough ore tom make armour and an iron bow and then you should be ready to go, protip : if it gets dark or you are low hp and out of bandage's beam back to the ship sleep and the planet will reset the timer to mourning ;-)

 

If the game's too difficult for you, shelf it until they release difficulty modifiers, or mod your game to be easier. I hope they don't decide to make the game super easy just because some people haven't been able to learn the tactics to beating things.

 

This Game has gone from being a Nice Balance, To Something That Just Throws Birds in your Face and wants you to suffer. All Of The Ores Are Incredibly Rare, and, Dodging Birds Who are Spurting Blood at you is kinda Hard to dodge, Harder So when There's Six of them. And Because of this, It's Hard to get across the planet to get Armor, but To get across the Planet you need Better Armor/Weapons, And to do this you need Ore, So you need to go Across the planet... Yeah. I Enjoyed this game lots, But now It's just evil. I Found It Easier Pre-Patch.

 

Because they would cry and suicide at seeing the deevolution of the human race.

Think about it. Back in the atari days when games were super basic and you came back and said OMG THIS AI IS TOO ADVANCED GET RID OF IT!

The game is harder now, yes. That is kinda what they seem to have intended. I'm glad for one, it was silly levels of easy before.

 

e) i think its because the level system has been reworked, every planet in alpha sector is now level 1, so all of them can be the home for these mini-bosses
d) i would never say something like that, beam down get some wood for tools and start digging
c) and a) you really need an iron bow : /
b) sun goes down? beam up, wait few seconds beam down -> dawn

 

I'd rather have a hard time than an easy time tbh. What I'd like to see is longer days, and shorter but HARDER nights, so there's more of a reason to stay indoors. And make crafting take a little longer so there's something to do indoors.

Alright everyone, help me find the hidden message.

 

I don have problem with current difficulty of the game,but admitting that at start birds can be pain in the ass.

 

This is completely different though. Trying to compare two time periods is the stupidest thing I have ever read. Your probably being sarcastic. If not my view on you has changed quite a bit.

 

Man if you think ore spawns are low right now you either haven't updated or have insane expectations. This patch is brimming with ore and will be lowered. And you don't have to get ACROSS the planet, it's actually much safer and worthwhile ore wise to dig. You can stay in your own tunnels and apply dirt when needed to stay away from enemies and collect ore. Dig out backwalls until you reach the cave level to save torches, make sure you space your torches where you actually need them to save more. If you know a safe way to get from torch a to torch b you don't need more torches in the middle for the next time you go down there. Spread them out a bit and use your flashlight. Obviously there will be some areas where you want to illuminate a lot more, but you don't have to leave torches behind.

Anyway I'm getting off track. If you're having trouble with enemies, mine for ore and upgrade your gear. If you're efficient and smart about it you won't have trouble.

I mean seriously we have someone complaing that the ai is more advanced. Do you realize how sad that is? It is like saying Damn this microwave needs to be removed it is too efficient.

I took it as him asking people to not merely dismiss his opinion. With how many "gitgud" posts I see it's a valid concern.
