Oi bud, your opinion is valued, but don't twist my words. At no point did I say I would refuse to play the game, I'm simply refusing to play Glitch and moving to Hylotl.

Also although it does come off as an attack against your post and the thread I was just trying to make a funny observation in general, I understand both sides of the discussion and and find both to be valid personally.

Now, to everyone, I've been tearing apart any ideas that could tie this horse farm the Glitch, when I thought two good things.

A.) The horse could be part of the race that created the glitch (No evidence)

B.) The Horse could represent the glitch government.
Explanation time!
Now, little horse hipster has her hipster head, all ugly. What is ugly about the Glitch? The Hivemind's control over all Glitch and its intent of making Outcasts out of the self aware. It acts like what it's doing is for the better, thus the horse's ugly smile.
Still need to think of a logical reason as to why it has the body of a woman...

 

You can back this up with as much lore as you want, it's still going to be a turnoff to some new players.

 

@Stormquake I can hardly believe nobody has said this yet, but what makes you think you can make such demands? If the Devs changed something in the game because one customer 'demands' it. It'd open up Pandora's Box. I don't particularly like the horse AI myself, but I'll live with it, if I end up making a glitch character in future I may just get a mod that changes it to something else, or just live with it. but I know I certainly don't have the right to demand these kind of changes. May I ask what makes you so special?

 

Point taken. But new players probably won't know why their Avian's AI is a giant red pulsing crystal.

its fairly obvious, their ship has a big red crystal on it, hense the ai is a big red crystal...

I do not like the Apex AI avatar at all.

That having been said, I will not complain about it in public.

I will have complete contempt for it every single time I am forced to interact with it.

Perversely enough, I honestly think that gives the mechanic more depth.

 

i mean i can understand not liking the apex ai, and you could complain about it, nothing wrong with that, on the otherhand atleast its connected to the apex, its supposed to be big ape, might not be what big ape actually looks like, but its supposed to be big ape, as far as i can tell, which fits quite well with the apex, the horse for the glitch on the other hand....

 

A suggestion would have been a far better approach than an angry demand, especially when you start to bring maturity in to it.

Ever since they posted the picture I wondered if they were having a little fun and some just flipped out.
I am all for choices and have a feeling they have heard the complaints about this multiple times and in a much more constructive manner.

Should be interesting to see how it all plays out

 

I can't imagine playing a video game with humanoid apes, fish, and plants and being upset about a humanoid horse to be honest.

Also angered demand? Don't get mad at horse tits dude. Just calm it down, because "angered demands" pretty much discredit you immediately at least in my book.
