Things you DON'T want the developers to show

Most of us are pretty hyped for this game, myself included, thus we soak up all information about the game we can find. It's nice, long as the devs keep it scarce, but there are some things which the player should find out himself. So my question to you is: what is the thing you do not want the developers to showcase!

If you asked me, I'd say the first few minutes of the game, the introduction to the storyline. From the more "gameplay" aspects, maybe bosses shouldn't be shown at all. Unless if it's at the very end of the demo video, and it slaughters the team, so we don't see any actual 'combat'

 

I don't wanna see the introduction, I do quite agree. I really just wanna see how gravity and such work, not any spoilers (even if it is the very first thing you learn) and I don't wanna be told what makes what so I can play with as little information.

 

I'll take what I can get.

 

Things we don't want to developers to show? ... Well i could think of some things .... Oh you are talking agout footage from game! Well then begining, ending and advanced stuf.

 

I don't want them to show the bosses. I want to scream my head off as I run away from it thinking, "WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO WHAT DO I DO. GET AWAY!"

I dont want to see bosses either, or anything that tips off the story line, unless its an exploding planet... i would love to see that...

 

At this point? I don't want them to show us anything else, we know the basics and I'd like to learn the rest myself.

Maaayyybeee a trailer that shows what we already know, but to attract new players as an official thing. But yeah, I'd much rather find out for myself!

 

I don't want anything that has to do with any one race's main storyline. I don't want it to be like one of those times during a movie when I see the a part from the trailer and it isn't as great. So no bosses, parts of main quests, etc. I want strictly the sandbox potential being shown, and if they're gonna mention anything of the plot, strictly what will be told in the beginning and as vague as possible. Things are so much better when there's a sense of suspence, mystery, and twists in the plot.

 

I don't want to see anything at all. But if new informations are released i can't stop myself from looking! Every picture burns itself into my brain, makes me want to play starbound more. The only bit of information i WANT to read in the forums, is that the game is released

 

Anything that has to do with the story, any advanced (epic) crafting recipes or end-game items. Videos/pictures should also only showcase mechanics rather than raw content, or very little content (like they've been doing). Perhaps some more advanced mechanics, such as wiring (or if they added in genetic engineering, reverse engineering, etc.) should also be kept on the down-low

That'd be one long poll. Judging from this thread, not only would every game feature be listed, every part of the human body would be as well..
