I think if you are away far enough it will not read the roof pieces and stuff on the other edge of screen. Maybe just dig a small hole at the bottom as a drain.

I had a similar problem with one of my first houses rain kept on pourin' in despite there being a roof, After a bit of a search the culprit was uncovered a block missing in the background of my place. So there may be yer issue iffen it's not I can't help ye.

Try reinforcing the roof and build a better side to the building......not sure what those things are but they look like open windows so that can't be good.

I have heard (mind you, I have not tested it out yet) that the rain can be fixed by placing background walls behind all blocks. That includes the small rows of plants, but also, more importantly, the ROOF itself. Since you can't see the background blocks, you could put anything behind there, but then place the normal blocks back and it should (maybe) work.

The water might be getting in through the door, while it's open when you go in and out. And since it takes time for water to drain, you might be cycling the door fast enough to allow water to build up.

There's nothing you can do. There's a bug that has been in the game for a very, very long time where blocks that are off screen allow rain through them. Doesn't matter if you have enough background or whatever.

to auto drain the water, either put a drain where water accumulation occure, or remove a background block at the floor level (free background at ground level actualy drain water, thats why our worlds dont end up immerged)

Stopgap solution: build a drain at the Wiring Station and place it in the area where the water pools.

Just to have it said, since all possible explanations are already written: Add a 'Drain' tile in your floor, it drains water so fast, you barely will see it. Apart from the actual rain ofc.

If you want to preserve your windows as see-through, remember that glass blocks count as solid when placed into the background.

This may be a chunk loading issue that's as old as the game itself. Unloaded chunks don't block weather, allowing it to rain indoors if the roof is above the chunks that are loaded.

yea hafta leave a background block out.. I keep building balconies that turn into Hot tubs until you open the door. Of course they fill up fast cause the roof dumps in them:)

Notice the fence block missing from the balcony.

P.S Like your greenhouse seems a lot less random than mine.

The problem was probably some missing walls :speechless:; After some of you guys said to check the walls, I did and noticed there were few missing tiles. Double check everything and it fixed the leak QvQ! Now I can plant stuffs without having to worry about the leaks. Thanks a lot <3
