There once was a planetary system called Peacock...

It used to be my favorite planetary system because it was an eccentric star and it was simply called Peacock.

Now it seems that the number of stars has been reduced, and when I go to these coordinates, there is nothing there. No Peacock.

Has it been moved? Has anyone stumbled upon it in their travels? Or are names now procedurally generated as well?

 

When planet generator gets changed, whole universe gets changed, and thus vanilla coordinates are no longer valid. So, if you got planet changing mod (FU which adds crapton of planet types, mods adding new dungeons/villages, that kind of stuff), try deleting it and universe folder (I recommend to either backup first or track your worlds down and copy them separately), if your planet was pre-1.0, no dice.

I got system named Duskwood, though, which I plan to make a home system for my Novakid (it even got Savannah planet).

 

Yeah, it was pre-1.0 I was just hoping that maybe another system with the name popped up somewhere...

 

Yeah, it's likely that another star system somewhere is named Peacock, as long as there weren't any changes to the star naming system that prevents that from spawning now.
