There Are Going To Be Races!

So, I guess many of you didn't know this, and since Blue forgot to put this on his list, I want to clarify this information here: There are going to be races! I think that's great news.

 

Argonians. In Space.

 

Erm..Define "races"? You mean like classes of people, such as swordsman, mages, and soldiers?

 

No, more like Lizardman, Human, Dwarfons, etc.

 

Oh! That's cool. I would love to be an Octopus.

 

I can't wait to see what races are included! I hope they stay AWAY from the stereotypical elf, dwarf, ogre thing and make something completely new, completely Starbound

But, I like where Starbound is going. Everything seems really original.

 

This game is going to be such a phenomenon, and I just want to see it go places other games don't.

 

I agree with this. It has the chance to go outside of imaginary borders. Let it roam wildely!

 

And even if the Developers don't, the modding community will do so gladly.

 

Yeah, Let's just hope (Yea, I'm gonna be that pessimist at the moment) that the game doesn't turn into something we REALLY don't want it to be. The community's nice.

 

Let's just hope modding will be something that's strongly supported, not like Terraria where it sadly is still a pain in the *ss.

Wait till it grows, communities are always nice when they're small, atleast that's my experience.

Perhaps you set the race of your people and that's what you find for your npc or are what you start with while escaping your doomed planet.
