An orbital world- destroying death ray that shoots a flaming beam of energy that will undeniably destroy all life (and possibly the planet itself) in its path. Maybe for the evil conquer types that seek out to enslave all life in the universe on your soley colonized planet and force them to erect giant statues of yourself.

I think its the kind of thing deserved once you complete Tier 10. Furthermore if you were to use this device you would be obliterating entire planets of loot. Chances are you'd only use this for fun, and it'd probably take a while to build. Furthermore you could probably ban it on multiplayer to prevent horrendous abuse.
Exactly, it would have no practical use. I do actually support this because it would make a good RP plot device or potential threat in online servers.
I wouldn't ban it. Because from what I gather, Tier 10 is very difficult. Furthermore you could place all sorts of limitations on this kind of thing. Such as requiring a HUGE amount of money or fuel.
Yes, like "GIVE ME 5 BILLION DOLLARS OR I BLOW UP YOUR WORLD"- Dr. Evil style. Really hard to make and really easy to destroy, so someone could make like a Surface-To-Orbit missile and blow it up without an extremely hard struggle. Maybe also when someone acquires on of these it sends a warning to the rest of the server, like an intercom message so that they kill that guy and confiscate/blow it up

here's an idea,it's single use, but when you activate it on a planet you can choose to destory of a single, hyper annoying species. good to kill all of those guys who slaughtered you on your first planet, and good for getting rid of threats on level 100 planets.
