The Boss! Is a nutcase. An EXTREMELY rich nutcase, which might explain why there have been no legal actions againt him. He belives that anyone, who lands or encounters him on 'his' planet or biome, is his employee. Thats right! You are now working him. Not really, no... but the fat bastard just wont shut up about it, wont take no as an anwser either, and will now try to 'motivate' you into doing you supposed 'Job'. Are you gonna take this crap? Apparance: He is a 'fat', bald man in a 'fancy' suit with a 'expensive' sigar and a random race. Abillities: Demoralizing speech: The Boss will start ranting about you and every imagined 'slight' you have ever caused him once you encounter him. and as a result you will become Depressed. The Boss will remain neutral to you untill you hit him. Depressed: You will move slower, jump lower, do less damage and any gathering tools you have will take twice as long, or more, to get the job done. Hit The Boss to remove the Depressed debuff and gain MOTIVATED! MOTIVATED!: You feel pretty good about yourself for shutting The Boss up! Your tools are now Twice as effective, and you can now gather 50% more mats. lasts for 10 min after the defeat of The Boss and his goons. The Boss is now Hostile to you. You're Fired!: The Boss throws his lit sigars to set you on fire for x seconds. Unpayed Overtime: you become tired, attacks do half damage (suggestion by Hurricane) Security!: Summons 4-8 security guards to take care of you. Office Security Guard abillities: Tazer rod: short ranged melee weapon, have a low chance to stun you for 2 seconds. Punch: duh... Request Backup: Calls for more Office Security Guards to deal with you. 25% chance of summoning 1-3 Police Officers. Police Officer abillities: Small Gun: will attempt to shoot you. short to long range Arrest: Will attemp to arrest you, you can still move around but makes you unable to attack. Request Backup: Calls for more Police Officers to deal with you. 20% chance of summoning a SWAT Team of 5. SWAT Team abillites: Shotgun: Will knock you back, effect of knockback depends on how close you are. Short to medium range. or Assult Rifle: will attempt to shot you. A LOT! Flashbang: Causes a very bright flash that will make it difficult for you to see where you are going Request Backup: Calls for more Police Officers and/or Office Security Guards to deal with you. 5% chance of summoning a SWAT Team of 5. Drops: 'Fancy' Suit: now you are ready for a 'Fancy' party. 'Expensive' Sigar: NOW you got style, and lung cancer in the future. PHAT Paycheck: Will give you 15% of you total money count on one character. What do you guys think?

*warning* incoming immersion army But seriously how does this fit into the game? It's sci-fi, and yes it has some silly elements, but I don't think that we need this kind of po.
Immersion army! go! Attack one! Gives character backstory you don't know about and just plain silly, totally breaks the immersion by forcing story onto you and your character you may not want.
This boss was more of a ramdom impulsive brainwave i had, than a well thought out plan. So I can see if I can give the player a MUCH BETTER reason to either hunt this boss down, or randomly encounter him.
I have , hopefully, given a better reason to fight this guy. and I will say so again. This boss fight was more of a random brainwave, that a well thought out plan. Now, if I could just figure out how to change the title of the topic....
