I'd highly recommend inserting pictures of some of the items included in the mod. A general rule of thumb for modding is "No pics, no clicks."

 

Planning on adding pics when I finish the sprites. I'll be updating later on today, and maybe even add a gif too.

 

In the case of gifs, I recommend using this: https://screentogif.codeplex.com/

I use it to make gifs for my own mod and it works wonders without impacting your performance. Just be careful not to record for too long. Gifs tend to get really big really quick.

 

Thanks, I've been using Gyazo for gifs and it always takes so damn long to open lol

Not sure how useful this would be to you, but I thought id at least put it out there.

This sprite sheet has tons of gun sprites that are mostly sized appropriately for Starbound. Some of them may help in inspiration and design of weapons for your mod.

dude starbound already has flamethrowers in the base game

 

This looks good, so far. I'll keep an eye on it for progress, for certain.

If I may suggest something I once heard about from a veteran, Bouncing Betties. It's a mine that springs up off the ground before detonating.

 

I'm aware of this, but I'm trying to re-skin, and add new animations to it in order to make it look although it came from the Vietnam War Era.
