The Verin are a species of insect like creatures that resemble the centipede. These creatures are deadly and make nests at the center of planets and infect the planet. burrowing holes all threw the ground. They multiply fast and feed off of all things they can find. They are fast, and with they're many legs they can maneuver they're bodies quickly. They basically destroy everything. They have razor sharp mandibles which are used as they're main weapon and reproduce using eggs. they're eggs cannot grow unless under extreme heat and they will therefore live near the core of the earth, slowly feeding off everything that makes the mistake of wandering too deep. They slowly spread like a disease and lurk farther away from the center of the earth and eventually kill everything. They have grown smarter but do not choose to use this ability because they never lose. they are however unable to travel from planet to planet and were originally stranded on their first planet but explorers were unaware of the threat and some of the Verin were able to stowaway on their ship. The Verin have caused extreme devastation in the universe and are a growing problem, no one thought they could be stopped, but that was before You. Fighting back The verin are in great numbers but they are only insects. They're skin is not very tough and weapons made for organic creatures work extremely well against them. The verin have a chance to infest your world when you set it as your own and can be a big problem. Stopping them will require you to go deep underground and destroy all of their eggs. There will be one nest filled with them and a boss Verin to fight and once beaten you will have pretty much killed the verin. however more can travel from other planets still. If you let the verin spread too far then they will kill everything living on your planet. They will burrow holes and cause your planet to slowly collapse. The Verin are very weak to light and using a flashlight will cause them to flee. however the bigger verin will not. The verins size ranges from the size of a real life centipede to having a body as wide as your computer screen and as long as two street lamps stacked on top of each other. When verin enter a world all other creatures on it, hostile or not will not spawn as frequently because they're hiding. Verin can be killed and they have a saliva that can melt threw rock quickly and they're mandibles are frequantly used in avian culture to show how good a warrior you are. whoever has the biggest mandible is obviously a better warrior. The weapon best used for fighting verin is undoubtedly a flame thrower. because it seems cool.
I got question, do u have any idea how this thing going look like? Pictures would help much better. Reason why I said this is because, u could be describing a shark ppl or other racist have razor sharp stuff that fit that description.
