The true minimal specs required!

Easy on the wallet:

GTX TITAN x6 w/ multiple 4tb hard drives running with RAID 17

 

I don't get the reason of the thread

 

It is a joke thread, GTX Titans are THE BEST graphics cards out, and he says there have to be six of them.
He also says that you need 4 TB hardrives (which aren't available to my knowldege) Running raid (a backup system where one harddrive is made an exact copy of another hardrive).

 

You is not having 8TB externals? Is poor?

 

I for one think 8TB portable harddrives would be quite amazing.
But expensive.
So concerning buying one, I is poor.

Nah there are plenty of 4TB drives available out there. Around $200 so they aren't too bad.

The biggest point that stands out is a RAID 17. Lol. RAID 0-6 and a RAID 10 (or RAID 1+0) would be the only viable formats.

Another point would be 6 GPU's in a Crossfire/SLI configuration which to my knowledge no motherboards out there support 6 cards.

But yeah, most people (I would hope) should see this as a joke thread.

 

I saw an article on Tom's Hardware about a peice of tech that allowed a computer to use 4 extra graphics cards.

 

You forgot the fusion core power source. (mini star) (also it is just sci-fi at this point)

That's cheap, my setup is a dual fusion reactor w/ a superheated plasma energy source.
