The Story of Starbound?

Wait, is that part even canon? I thought it was entirely dettached from the plot. Zinjay mentioned that restoring Earth was impossible, they could only revisit it in the past at their leisure. (Also spoilers but oh well).
Also Gat out of Hell shows that they are still living on that ship after all that scuffle. I don't know if any of that recruiting and saving earth stuff really happened.

 

The potential for fun and shenanigans in the story is infinite, hell we'll have storylines introduced by mods too, who knows what craziness will unfold. Regardless of whether earth is saved or not or even spoken of there should be lots of fun.

I read that as impossible to restore directly....there's no machine to bring together all the little pieces so from that aspect it's true......but if you can go back in time what's to keep you from altering the course of events.....but this conversation is a bit overly serious when we take into account this is Saints Row we're talking of and absolutely no shenanigans is too ridiculous to happen.

 

There's a witty response to that that's just hovering on the edge of my consciousness, tantalizingly - and frustratingly - out of reach.

 

Starbound's story is Unknown,Earth got destroyed and plus other races' Homes got destroyed to?What happened to your homes?Well when you go to the starbound gates (in every star system)It shows you this big stronghold door or something.there is something unknown about all six home-sentient races Adventuring for no reason?The gate has any known lore from us.what is the problem about starbound?There is basically NO way to solve this!Many theories like:what happened to the worlds?How did the Races got Created?What are the octopuses do in the stargate?How did the Home sgot destroyed?I have basically no idea.

I wish that i found the milky way star system and See what Earth looks like in Starbound!!It must be really Destroyed because of Mars' army Destroyed Earth (I Heard Mars took over earth While earth was having a war with them,Also i heard that from a Starbound Wikia)

 

Man, you've gotta investigate more. Earth wasn't attacked by Marsh, it was attacked by a giant alient monster with tentacles. That's for sure. No need to make theories where there are records of that in codex books.
Also, the gate of the Ark Ruins is something that will gain importance in the next update. You will be able to open it after completing a set of missions based on each of that six races (that's also known to).
By the way, don't double post, try to edit your first post if nobody has answered yet, please.

 

Also, this thread was dead for over a year now. This is some hardcore necromancy...

 

I've only just come back to the forum after a year and a half or so, and it seems like there are quite a lot of necromancers on this forum these days.

I think that it is pretty obvious from the holographic images you see at the altars that the story involves the tentacle monsters. It seems like the images depict a union of 8(?) races(or heroes) that, a long time ago, defeated the monsters. These races are obviously the currently playable races in the game. I say there were 8 because in addition to the images showing the faces of all the current races, among the images there was one in the lower right that appeared to be destroyed.
And it seems like the destruction of earth marks the return of the monsters that were defeated a long time ago.
