Hey all. New to the forums but I wanted to share what I've been working on since the wipe. c: Beofre I merely had a house... But this patch I wanted to one-up myself so I started building! If there is another wipe (I'm sure there will) I'll be making this BETTER than before. But, here to go with descriptions about what you're seeing. Entrance with a guard tower. I still need to add the avian motifs to the sides of the building here, though. Also, I need more guards (I had about 5+ but they get destroyed by lowbie monsters, something I really hope get buffed for the sakes of my townfolks.) Below, is the prison cells complete with Cells, a Thought Reassignment laboratory (I may have a thing for Kluex, despite the story beginnings of the character. ) and, if all else fails... A rather barbaric Torture, executioner chamber! Yes. It's all brutal, but.. Well. There you have it! To the right on the surface, is the initial hovel I started building. IT needs a serious remodel and more beds, but it was what I first started with. Below is a treasure trove with my various items and blocks stashed within for quick access while building. To the right of this is the start of the hospital. The rest of the hospital can be seen below and continues into two bed (Whoopie. I plan for a main hospital to be above ground next time with MANY beds/wards. Various Avian posts are above with fruit stalls and a weapon smith stall. The townsfolk LOVE to gather here as seen in the shot. The building in the middle is the forge and smithy, my tool merchant jumping around happily within. To the right of this building, is my adventuring partners Floran house with his own Floran dungeon below. I assume this is where he keeps his future meals. It's very dismal down there with the writing and stuff! While originally an avian-centric town, I was indeed, looking forward to add Floran buildings and make it a Floran/Avian centric city to cement me and my buddy's adventuring companionship. Lastly, we come to what might be a sacrificial altar. But I won't admit it. To the right of this is my restaurant, "The Bird's Nest." It's complete with four tables and a greenhouse above; self sufficient for the cooks to gather what they need to make a variety of dishes. I'm hoping to discover more places to cook like a stove of sorts but it merely has an tribal camp pit in there right now. Citizens are happily passing through, the underground passage is more for ease of movement for the NPCs; If I had the backdoor open, my chef would wander outside and probably get himself killed easily, along with other NPCs. Therefore, this door is locked via switch. A guard below patrols the passage(There was only one guard spawn, but I need to also report the double guard copy as a bug. Many Avian Spawns did the same too, which is why you see copies of the same avian.) and is meant as a workaround towards people being unable to move through the restaurant proper. I have plans for buildings with rooms and beds scattered throughout as well. And there you have it. My town's humble beginnings. c:
Oh cool! I'm hoping to build an airship and a village/castle. I started it before the update, which was a mistake. Also, yes the images are working.
Haha. I had a mere multi-floored house before the update. I decided to take it beyond what I had with this. I'm sure next I'll dream even bigger. But an Airship was totally something I wanted to do, too! Dream big and aim for the stars. c:
Go for it. I'm glad it inspired you! I hope to add some more unique things here and there with more time. I'm planning to build/working on an avian temple and graveyard now, too. A marketplace is also in my head as well as a town hall and more living areas.
