The machine that shows a hologram of "a planet" (it's obviously the death star). The description of that decoration says: "That's no moon." which is a reference to star wars.
and if you examine it with a glitch he/she says: "Is that? No.. it can't be..."

Nobody's mentioned the haystacks yet? They're clearly Assassin's Creed references. Their description goes something like: Hiding in one of these after a crime spree is probably a bad idea.

Also using the N key to inspect a brain in a jar as a Glitch results in a wistful comment - much like thewoodcutter in Oz again.

There's a musical Instrument Ocarina and it's blue, possibly a Zelda series reference.

"There's no need to be upset" poster. Meme of Flying lawnmower and Gorrilla's face telling the line.
Inspecting one of the flowers" I wonder if eating this will make me throw fireballs?"

The sprite for the ocarina in game also suggests Zelda beyond the color. Most ocarinas have a very, very tiny mouthpiece. Here's a real one:

Note how it barely looks like the Ocarina of Time if you know its design by heart. There's six holes visible on this side of the instrument, if you can't tell because of glare, along the top and bottom.

Compare with the Ocarina of Time:

Note in particular the XBOEHUEG mouthpiece that's about a fifth of the size of the rest of the instrument, contrasted with the almost complete lack of a mouthpiece on the real ocarina. Real ocarinas do often have that kind of huge mouthpiece, but that particular feature is sort of distinctive for the Ocarina of Time.

That's the ocarina in game. You may want to zoom in to see it better, but it's the same color, has the same big ol' mouthpiece, and even more telling, it's even in the same orientation as the Ocarina of Time's inventory sprite in Zelda!

I said possibly, cause I have NOT personally played a SINGLE game with Link, only what I've gained from memes and references in other games.

    Two things:

    1. I wasn't correcting you, merely elaborating. It's pretty distinct how much of a Zelda reference the ocarina is. Probably wouldn't be in game if Ocarina of Time wasn't Ocarina of Time, but instead, I dunno, Trombone of Time. Then we'd have a trombone and no ocarina. I still want a trombone regardless :(

    2. You should really play some Zelda, man. You're missing out.

You should play them. They're pretty great games. Ocarina of Time is by far one of the best.

Unless you have a Wii or Wii U, Nintendo can't make money off selling copies of Zelda games before... Twilight Princess (2006) at the earliest. Probably Skyward Sword, actually. If you have a Wii or Wii U, you can buy all the console Zeldas (i.e., not portable) on the Virtual Console. NES titles are $5, SNES is $8, N64 is $10, as I recall. Not sure if there's Gamecube Virtual Console on the Wii U.

Either way, Nintendo has already made their money (and much more) on Zelda games from the past. It's not going to hurt them or really cause anyone moral grief if you emulate them so you can enjoy them for yourself. In fact, it'll help ol' Ninty in the long run just because you might become a fan - and new fans means new sales!

No consoles. Except for Bf's Xbox 360 and a PC.
+Nintendo's still busy milking Mario franchise. I used to be a fan, but gave up trying to keep up.
