EDIT: I'm getting so... ugh annoyed when I gotta tell people what indie is... it's kinda hard
Since it's on one side not really a genre but a lable and the music that comes forth in it can be things like punk and alternative
but if you explain THESE things it actually comes down that these two genres I just mentioned are "movements" as well as much as the indie "genre" is

(really can be anything, since i have penguins that can do the other jobs, but mainly researcher)
Backstory: Long ago, in the tundras of Starbound.. There was a old lab deep within the ground, under the snow.. The planet this lab remained on was called Alpha Borridor, which after a great war, and the detonation of a atomic bomb that was known to change climates of any planets, (or feared to anyway) was set off to end the war on the planet. The bomb had changed the climate soon after, and no corpses were found, but were believed to be buried by the snow. Anyways, back to the lab. Here, there was a team of scientists, building anything that could help prevent what had happened here on Alpha Borridor. Thats where "The Penguin Overlord" was made. He was a normal penguin, that soon after, was used to make a penguin with intelligence greater than anyother of his species.
