The star on top of the tree. Is the star thats in you and me. For some it shines so bright. For others its as dark as night. Some are red or blue. Some are in Mary woo who. Even if your star doesn't shine this year. Or it busts on the floor due to a mistake. You'll always have next take to fix the mistake. Good luck to you,and good luck to all. If you want some suggestions, I think a few more Starbound references might be in order. Only you know how you want to structure your poem, but I also would suggest that you separate some of your ideas like this: It lends the poem a slightly better flow, and it helps us to understand what you want to tell us.
