Name is Shadow, QShadow friends can all me Q. Just stumbled over Starbound recently and I have to say it looks amazing, however most of the hypetrains I ever joined had the tendency to crash into a wall (last one was CoD MW2, I learned my lesseon there) so I'll take my time to observe this game. Best of luck to the dev team to make this a game equal to minecrafts success. But I think with useable mechsuits the chances arent too bad. About myself? Well there isnt mcuh to say, I was borne in the fourth generation of consoles so I grew up with the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive and the SNES one of the best generations imho So I'm daring to call myself one of the old breed. But enough from me, I'm going to check out the forums now.
Hello QShaodow, welcome to the Starbound forums. I hope you have fun. Please have a cookie. While technically started gaming during the fourth console generation, it was on a third generation console (the Sega Master System).
Thanks for the cookie, I'll keep it for a specail occasion, like the start of the beta maybe I defenetly will have fun, problem is that I'll have to dig through many information before being on a level I call "actaully knowing whats going on", but no worries, thats my favourite part when I join a new forum.
Hello Shadow, welcome to the Starbound community! I honestly hope Starbound impresses you, and if not, then atleast gets you mildly tingly! There are not too many videos out there, and half of the screenshots are things a random person would just go like "Wow, they took a picture of a crafting recipe, big woop...", but if you get to know our community, you'll understand why we're so passionate about this game, and any show of footage is to die for Hope you can find what you like here, see ya!
Hey there Q, welcome to the forums! I remember the first console I ever played was the Atari 7800, but the first console I ever got was a Nintendo. I have pretty much owned every following console after that, just wish I would have kept them all .
I think I'm finished to dig through all the major informations and I have to say the game looks amazing, only question will be how long lasting it is, but since the dev team said they will support the game after the release I think it s gonna kill a decent amount of time, considering I played Terraria for more than 200 hours I think I will easily reach an equal amount with Starbound. And to be honest I'm alredy pretty sure that I will pre-order it, I cant wait to get my fingers on that piece of art. And thx for the warm welcome.
