We in no way support actual animal cage matches. It is cruelty, simple as that. The name of the clan is merely a parody of the “Pokemon League”.​

We are Pokemon Trainers Creature Tamers.
We want to be pretty good, like everybody does... To tame them is our real test, and we'll train them just because! We will travel, down the road, searching for a ride!... Each creature, to understand, the claws in which they hide!... OW - CREATURES!

As Starbounders, we tend to enjoy searching for new species, training them, and holding semi-legal fights between them. There's no problem that can't be solved by a creature(who may or may not be trapped in a small ball) can't handle.

Worps - Faint Bringer - He didn't know that Pokemon could not be killed. So, he just brings faints instead of deaths.

Divisions:
So far, we've split up into two divisions. And 1 other division containing one member. He's special.

Division 1: The Pixelmon Division
These individuals will do their best to stuff their creatures in their pockets – preferably in a round object first if possible.

Division 2: The Creature Tamer Division
These people do not stuff their pets into small balls. They also won't smell us later. They're just here for the semi-legal gambling.

You guys can choose your own. We were thinking of everyone being a trainer of some sort, like a “Youngster” or “Bug Catcher”, but you guys would probably prefer to combine a couple or just make your own up. I personally think a “Young Catcher” would be awesome... Wait...

Simple as that. It worked for my Grade 9 gym class, it will work here. We're here to have fun. We have a common interest, so keep it civil.

However, the clan has decided they have a few rules to add, so here they are.

Dec. 6 - Olds updated, and GENERATION 1 THEME WEEK/WHATEVER TIME PERIOD established.
Jan. 16 - KS Learned how to mod PO.
Jan. 17 - Paravect documentation and implementation complete. Bombi concept introduced.
Jan. 17 - March 26 - Stuff? Mod updates, and discussion about anything under the sun. Sometimes Pokemon!
March 26 - Remembered "Olds" segment existed. Added this note about it. Oh, and the "Winter Warrior" themed update was released to seemingly non-existant critical claim.
April - Stuff. Stuffy stuff. The stuffy stuff the stuffs... stuffy.
May 1 - Mod updated. Everyone in Killer Snowman's imagination celebrates.
May 4 - Mod turns out to be broken. Everyone in KS' imagination grabs their pitch forks.
May 9 - Learned that PO broke the mod, and not the other way around. Yay?
May and June - There may or may not have been some important stuff here.
June 28 - Contemplated getting rid of "Olds" section.

PO Guidlines for the SLCFR

I get questions from time to time as to what is legal during our PO battles, and what isn't. So, here it is.

1. No ubers.
If it's on that list, we really don't want to see it. They're banned for a reason. Probably because of their grotesque power.

However, that means some legendaries are OK to use. Like Zapdos, or Terrakion. Or Mew. Ahem.

2. Sleep Clause
As I've come to learn, this is a very popular clause. Only one Pokemon on each team can be asleep at a time. Sounds good to me.

3. Items
Basically, we don't care if you use the same item once or even 6 times on your team. Each item has its benefits, and its drawbacks. However, brightpowder or anything that decreases accuracy, while not considered banned, will earn you some flak from Killer Snowman. (Who cares what he says anyways?...)

4. Weather
Perma-weather is one of the coolest new toys this generation. It makes some once looked-over Pokemon worth using. So, of course we're gonna allow it.

Now, Big Brother Smogon believes perma-rain and Swift Swim should be illegal. My Ninetails begs to differ. Sure, they are powerful, but they are not impossible to counter. For one, you can bring in another weather. Kingdra with Swift Swim in particular is given a hard time, for having so few weaknesses. For now though, we're going to allow all swift swimmers.

5. Why so serious?
Seriously. Don't take this so seriously. This is supposed to be fun after all. You win, you win. You lose, you lose. No big deal. This kind of goes with our "No dink" policy.

I once went on WiFi. Just for funsies. And then I got matched up with a Japanese EXPERT.

I thought, "Hey, I'm pretty good. I've got "Clamps" my Cloyster here..." DEAD.

"Oh.. uh... okay... "Gangsta", my PantsOnTheGround will surely save this..." DEAD.

"Okay. That's it. DRAGONI-" DEAD.

"Well. Crap." DEAD.

 

Bah. I just throw my Pokemon at the problem and hope they solve it.
That's why I'm the Commissioner. I'll take care of licensing and crap. Rules. That stuff.
Muffin... I think... knows more about battling... He's also the inspiration for this, so, CHEERS TO MUFFIN.

But yeah... I love that Machamp can 100% DynamicPunch. I call mine Odin-Va. It means "One-Two" in Russian. The closest thing to a strategy I have is throw my Cloyster out into the field, and get him to Shell Smash... and destroy everything.
