Neat bridge! Though I wonder in the future, what if Florans took over at least one of your planets, and terraformed every structure of yours into theirs? That might be fit for a possible Leeven vs Floran dispute story.
In fact, it is hinted that both hadn't the best relationships; however, that wasn't so much the Floran's fault. The Leeven sold them some arms. Needless to say, that nobody ever heard anything of these leeven merchants, as anything which was left from them vanished after a hilarious short dialogue: "Thisss sssafe...?" *BOOM*
Poor Floran though. They better be good with their needlers, be it poisonous, or neurotoxic more, than hi-end weapons.
We are returning a bit to the style of San Geronimo; first, I wanted to recreate a desert village after its lost when the Giraffe hit and destroyed all efforts. The second motive for a new Leeven village in the desert is the dungeon project, for which I want to design a "blueprint" for future villages of the same kind. The screenshot above will serve as the "entry" for such a village. Here the whole picture: Here by day: Here the first house; one picture without furniture, the other decorated with furniture: This is a rather small house; there will be a second one of this size. Other houses will be bigger to ensure diversity. By the way, the new city will have a name in Leevensi: Baz-Ar.
I already built this house on San Geronimo, but I revived it for Baz-Ar, as I really like the concept. Also, the furniture was done this time by me.
looking good. i'm wondering if you plan on utalising the colony function when it arrives for this project?
Would make sense, but I'm not even sure. Some players have stipulated interest to live in some of these houses; but I may build some new ones to test the colony-mechanics in the future. However, as no one knows when the new colony-patch will finally hit, there is still some time to prepare an appropriate number of new appartments
New pictures from Baz-Ar; and once again, buildings inspired by previous builds from San Geronimo. Do you remember them? Here is Leeven Village House 3a: With furniture: Leeven Village House 3b is the mirror of 3a. And a last screenshot with furniture: Yes, I used similar buildings for the flanks of the Lion Bridge. And as you may be disappointed, because only the furniture and some details changed, I show you something more: As someone who travelled a lot of Ocean planets in the last months, it became really annoying on an MP server that EVERYONE uses the same boat. So I'm going to release a little cosmetic mod, adding these three boat types to the game. The blue one is the favorite, as you may have guessed
Another bridge; as Leeven villages have several artificial channels, it's only one of many in Baz-Ar.
As I built a lot on ocean planets, it annoyed me that every player has the same boat. If someone is interested in the boats I've shown above, I uploaded a little mod which changes the colour and the sign of your boat, adding more diversity: http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/colourful-boats.2979/
I hope they give each racea different boat... though apparently their vehicle plans call for taking those out of Tech, so... probably will? I just hope wood boats get set alight when you dunk them in lava. Bring on the hovercrafts!
As Baz-Ar is a trade post (like most leeven villages), I think I should add more distinguished shops; smaller in size, but underlining the "merchant" theme. Here is the first shop. This is a merchant focused on cloth, clothes, silk and so on.
Another shop-themed house. Obviously, this leeven merchant is specialized on weapons, and suggest Floran, Glitch and Avian customers. Also note the small detail that the upper floor has more decorative and richer elements like gold objects and better chairs. It seems like trading in arms is a lot more lucrative than trading with clothes...
Are you /admin'ing some of this stuff? I've yet to find those older flowerboxes or hanging flower baskets anywhere... to say nothing of the tall vases.
Yeah, some of it is done in admin mode for this project, as it will be part of a dungeon mod and I wanted to add some diversity/possibility to gain these items in-game.
And a toy shop. Well, Leeven like kids, so that is important. And as they travell a lot, they have different toys from different raches to sell.
