The reason Beta isn't, and can't come out yet.

Seriously, to many updates. Have you seen how much they get done in a day? They'd be having push out patches every six and a half minutes. We'd never get past character creation and would basically only be testing the updater. I demand the chucklefish devs stop working so hard and stop putting out so many updates. It's the only way to stop the continued updates and ensure we get a beta.

Eh I disagree, these are update "news". It's basically requested, and is for the community. Without these, we're basically walking in the dark, not knowing anything about the game.
Atleast with these updates, we will know what they have accomplished, and know itty-bits of content that is in store for us.
Those updates aren't actual updates that gets released to us, so they aren't "patches"

The 'updates' are here to keep the community informed. Without them, we'd be in the dark again regarding news of any game progress.

You're obviously new here so let me run a few things your way and see if we can come to an understanding of sorts.

1) The updates will still be done whether they tell us what they have done or not. Its just one person taking 10-20 minutes of a day to tell us what they got up-to.
2) The beta is a perfect time to release new updates because we are supposed to be testing a game and giving feedback and telling them about bugs before actual release. Full release of a game is 100% ideally without bugs - Beta might be; 85-90%. Then they release all features along with the released game when they deem it necessary.
And I'm going to squeeze these in together because i don't usually like making long posts.
3) "I demand" - You don't.
"Seriously, too* many updates." - How can you have too much of a good thing?
"They'd be having push out patches every six and a half minutes" - One update a day is not six and a half minutes.

We appreciate you joining the community but please, try to be positive about the things at hand. There is no need to complain about something that is out of yours or anyone else's control.

"Tiyfoolery" is a reference (I assume) to "Tomfoolery" Tomfoolery means "Foolish or silly behavior"
