these ships would be made by the author of there 9 ship mod, not me. and i think the tier 8 ship is already big enough with it's 10 normal rooms + 4 small roooms + 2 big rooms

 

Honestly, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Getting a placeholder ship out of vanila blocks that the player can rebuild, would serve as a goodd placeholder.

That would actually be pretty hard to do, but I can see how it would be done. I'd probably make it an extra mod, mainly because I see this kind of upgrade/place holder more as an "expert user" that fewer people would like than a general want. the thing is that i have to force the teleporter, pilot seat, tech console and fuel hatch to be somewhere, it cannot be removed just because why not, so that could cause some problems,there is also the falling in the void part but i guess that can be fixed by having a part of the floor that cannot be removed...

AFAIK the teleporter point is anchored in the file, the chair and fuel hatch are free, same as the SAIL.
From personal experiments I have found that item breakability is in the shipfiles. You could have the teleporter forced as indestructible, and the toher blocks movable and removable.

 

Okay, how do we craft the HARMONY weapons now? they don't show up in the HARMONY Station.
Or were they removed?

 

update your mod, they should be in the harmony station in the weapons tab.

 

OH neat this looks like a lot of inprovements have happened

 

actually the next update will mainly a code maintenance and general improvements, there is a lot of bad code and naming conventions i used in the past i want to change but to implement it in one update i would have to basically break all the current characters,,, darn you PGIs

 

cleaning up is a nesesary thing

 

If I was to make a complete clean up I'd be breaking more character progression and items that it wouldn't be worth it. I've already used a lot of workaround to fix some items but what I'm probably going to introduce is a machine that will basically update items their corrected version and give everyone a 1 month period to fix it.

Yo, I made a mannequin item that works more like the default game mannequin. The sprite is a female alicorn -- I don't know how to make it switch based on the gender of the mannequin, but I did include a male sprite in the files. I'm an artist, not a coder, unfortunately. Maybe you'd be interested in it?

i'm planning on updating the old mannequins to merge into one items, so i don't think i'll need that but thanks anyway.

 

Okay, that's cool. Also, is there any specific spritework that might be needed? That's something I'd probably be able to contribute fairly readily.

Yeah, I can work with that. My laptop went kaput recently, so I won't be able to really do anything until it gets fixed, unfortunately.
