RELEASED the pony modpack V3.2.4 Balanced Stallion

oh well if there is one I would like to play on it

 

I never spoke of a server i did have one at a certain point but it used it only for server debugging, now i realized i could just be a bit more intelligent and actually run the server myself from my own computer.

 

actually it could be possible though that would mean it would be linked to a hair style

 

well that is weird let me check some stuff and i will try to see what's up. i had no problem yesterday with this.

 

also for the livestream it will have to wait i have a lot of stuff i need to attend to and i might not be able to make a complete changelog for a while, though the summary is good enough for the time being

 

i found why it was crashing, i'm gonna update the thing. and try to move it back to mediafire. somehow it the whole website was down yesterday

the cause of the crash are 4 corrupted files... i don't think it values a version change since it's just archival updating, so i'm just gonna post the update, move the changelog, delete the old one, and keep the same version number.

Is it just me, or is the weapon positioning weird for the melee weapons?

 

ya this is what i am going to work on for the next update, i tried to make a generic temporary fit for all the weapons, but i hadn't taken the time to test all the 900 new weapons, if you can tell me which weapons looks weird, it would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to just be the positioning itself; its like its thrusting the weapon vertically instead of "swinging". The models themselves look great

 

Cobra, you left a few work files in the mod I am stumbling into excess folders and .PSDs at places

 

i tend not to but the only ones that are there on purpose are the ship ones and the ones left by Heliostorm. i keep them there so that of someone wan't to create a new armor or shit they will have a template to base their work on on.|

though when i think about it, the pack may have 2500 files more since the last update but the compressed archive is 1mb less than the old update archive it's both funny and almost impossible

 

A bit of cleaning up might do before the new main patch for the game. I can't even imagine how much of a nightmare it must be to organize all of the files if something breaks.

 

i don't really need to clean up anything,
i use the same naming and file storage conventions as the original game files so that isn't much of a problem. it only is a problem if the game decides to split or more huge amounts of files around like when they modified the dialog to go into an other file instead of keeping it in the same file as the npc that would say them.

and as for the psds, there is only what i want remaining in the current version 3 templates for the armors and the ship files.
Though it is true that the shipt4 is present twice.
