RELEASED the pony modpack V3.2.4 Balanced Stallion

Fun fact: None of the mane 6 had shoes with their season 5 gala dresses. Probably why some look so plain compared to season 1, when they all did..

 

Yeah, I can confirm that the armors are broken currently as well, also it seems using an existing pony character at least for me broke my save because the quests have reset but the ship's AI did not. I don't know if it affected other race's saves or not, or just the ponies. I had to re-create my character and transfer my items to fix the pony quests.

 

I hadn't that Problem.
I had to delete all my Characters and World Files because another Mod caused big Trouble (in little China) =)

So I have begun compleatly from new.
At the Moment I have 2 Characters: A Pegasi and an Ponex.
Probem I have Found: The Pony AI won't give me the Option to unlock Pegasi flight.
I have the Quest, but not the Entry in the AI Menu.

The Alicorn hasn't had the Problem, as I tested it before.

But I think thats only one more Bug on a big Buglist after that Update. ;-)

Oh, and the stream is over for now.

weapons, there is no way this should work
ai/race might be having some problem

@Bloody_Kain if you can send you your log, i would like to see it.

well that's weird.
if you still have your old logs, i would like to see them, starbound keeps the logs of your 5 or 6 last games so you might be able to find it if you haven't launched the game too many times since then

And a list what works at the Moment and I have seen working or not in the Game:

- Ship AI works, with some Questrelatet Problems on some Pony Races.
(As said: Pegasi will become the Quest to ask the AI for the new "Flight License" but the AI won't have this Quest Entry in the List.)
- Apple Trees works
- Apple Cider works
- Plushys works
- Leather Armor looks like it works, because in the building Menu it isn't a green generic object.
(Leather Drops are reaaaaaly rare at the Moment... )

- Ponex and Harmony Crafting Stations are build and Placeable.
- Ponex Station is Useable and all Wings works.
- Weapons in Ponex Station looks like they will work, but only because there are more Vanilla Weapons in the Game, that works with the Old System.
That will be corrected in Future Updates, so it might be better to bring all Weapons to the new System.
So there is a Chance, that the old Weapons will still function with the new Update, but I havn't tested it yet.

- For the Pony Races where the AI has no Problem (At the Moment I have only tested Changelings) the flying and Rainboom works well.
- The Levitation Spell... have never understand for what it is, but it can be activated.
- The Stomp Attack I havn't tested now.

- Pony Bed works well too.

- The Armor Problem is known allready.

That was it for now.

more like changeling weapons having toxic damage, and grenade secondary, the bullet ones being the earth pone ones with the lance secondary, pegasi using lazer or bullets with electro afinity hellfire missile/explocive barrage secondary, unicorns using lazor fire element with homing attacks or charged shots

i was expressively waiting for glad giraffe to come to add the weapons you gave me... now i shall start to write too many ideas down so that i will never finish working on making awesome things.

 

I find the tongue bats underground drop leather rather frequently if you need some.

 

i remember that if you bow and arrow them mobs drop more leather, steak ant stuff like that

 

That's probably true too, but my results are just with the novakid's starting guns, so the bat's must be a good leather source regardless of bow and arrow or not.

 

My new Apple Family Barn.
(With Plushys as Placeholder, and I have Taken Granny Smiths Room. I think she hadn't made it to the Stars... ^^ )
On the left Side are the Fields and Apple Trees. At the moment there are only 4 - 5, but they will me bore evtl. later. ^^

 

One of the items on the yarn spinner seems to crash the game now, I believe it's Bag Pants (Peg), as that's what the mouse was over when it crashed. (Edit: Confirmed, went there, made sure that was the only item on it I hovered over, and got a crash. Access Violation.)

 

Don't know yet if this was fixed in the last update, but the Ponex Armors for the last 2 Tiers was defect too. (Perfect Generic Object Error)

I will install the new Version later to look at this. ;-)

 

I haven't seen a ponex in a long time. Never used em cause creepy.

I forgot just how creepy....ew...

 

Normaly I won't use one too.
But after the Update, there was this Armor Problems for normal Ponys, and the Forum was hacked and down AND I liked to try my first Starbound Livestream WITH the Pony Modpack. ^^
But, after some Hours, I couldn't build a Iron Armor or someting similar without the Admin Commands.
So I saved the Game and started anew with a Ponex, because they can use normal Armors.
Had worked well, to the Point of the High Tier Armors.
Couldn't build them, but had Luck to find a Rubium Armor on a Planet, that could be upgraded one Tier Higher, so I could go on with the Questline.

But at the Moment, I build more on my new Pony Homes, as to go on with the Quests, because all is left are the "Find and bring me Item XYZ" quests, and they are pretty lame. ^^

 

well that's weird.... i'm gonna go check what's wrong with that.
