Hey all. Having a small problem... I've started playing modded with this pack as well as CLeF and the Utility Matter Manipulator Upgrades mod and have hit a wall when playing as a Ponex...
I've got 20 Core Fragment Ore from the starting planet, but SAIL/LUNA doesn't accept them as the 20 Core Fragments needed to fix the ship thrusters... Am I doing something wrong or has having CLeF installed broken progression?

 

I searched this site, finding no mods called CLeF, what is it?

 

My bad, CLeF is the acronym for Choke Le Fish. It used to be on here for quite some time but recently made the jump to NexusMods... I can't link it because I haven't posted 3 times yet (yaaaay lurking), but it's URL code 595 or called "CLeF - Things To Do In Starbound" by dsp2003

 

Wasn't that the mod that reverted Starbound to function as the inferior pre-alpha version? If I remember correctly that started a huge mess of drama and conflict that resulted in users, or the mod, being banned from the Chucklefish forums. The game has become so much more diverse and full-featured in the months and months since that time...why anyone would want to remove all that content...

If that is the mod you are using, then 100% it would break with most race mods, because race mods have ship and quest files set up to run on the new progression system.

If removing that doesn't correct it, then we can take a look at the logs.

 

No worries. Will take me a bit to get my progression back since I have to start over =P

EDIT - Yeah, CLeF was causing the progression issues. Just managed to get around and sort the Mining Facility mission. Thanks for the help @Christovski!

it is possible but only you will see a difference, and all the rest of the stallions will have a thinner snout(only the one that are in the race you modified though)
here is how:
1. go to the modpack directory(mods/The Pony Modpack VX.Y.Z/)
2. go in the humanoid folder,
3. go to the folder with the name of the specie you're character is
4. delete the malehead.png file
5. copy femalehead.png and rename it malehead.png
6. either you are done or you can repeat step 3 to 5 for the rest of the species you want to modify

I was also wondering if maybe there's a way for you to add the mane and the coat color aswell? I don't have the experience to know how difficult that is, since all I really did is replace the coat color thingie with the same color code, while the others seem to be all different, seemed to work without issues though.
Also the mane I just replaced with the default, since I couldn't figure out where the mane colors were located.
But yeah, if you do decide that you can add these then all the stuff is within the zip.

adding the color won't be hard, i just have to add one line in the .species file. as for the pipboy cutiemark i might be able to add it for the game version update

Phew good, the actual Update has no effect on the Pony Modpack as far as I seen it for now.
Only the Creative Mod Pack has Problems with the Actual Update, but I think it will be fixed pretty quick. ^^

Edit:
Oh, and the Castlevania Furniture Mod has a CtD Problem too... too bad...
And the PBR Mod has some Lavalamp CtD Problems and the DJ Stuff can't play Music anymore...

 

Just loaded my save up and it looks like some of the stuff is broken. My Shadowbolt Armor is all "Perfectly Generic Items" now =(
EDIT - The recipes in the Separator's Table give PGE's too

 

Yeah. But you can build the Pony Bed and the Racemod itself works.
And it looks like the Plushys works too.

The rest is not so important. ^^

Oh and the Castlevania Mod was updated.

Anypony tested the pony modpack with Glad Giraffe yet?

 

not compleatly.
The Ponys self, also the races function well.
The Ships too so far.
Apple Cinder, Apple trees, the Armors and Weapons I havn't tested yet.
But if what Max said is correct, there are some Armors that won't work anymore...
