Darn, I can't make this mod work on my system. Do I need to do something else besides unpacking the mod's directory into "Starbound/mods"?

 

WELL HELLO THERE!
For some weird reason, the forum stopped notifying me about the mod discussion... i thought it was quiet for month... welp i guess i'm gonna ha some reading to do... a lot of it!
Soooo have some updates and what ever i'm gonna write here!


THE HELL HAPPENED!?!?!?
As some of you might have noticed, i was quite occupied, probably too much... but fortunately my Christmas vacations are coming soon... quick story short, at my job we do something we nickname half year rush... you can basically call it working 48 hours a day, 8 days of the week for 3 months in a row. ya... i love my job. probably too much... and i think i forgot to announce it when it started. i normally announce it before but i think i forgot to do so this time. OOPS....


WHAT HAVE DONE SINCE MY LAST POST?
Not a lot to be honest, when i work on these kind of rush, i normally take all of my personal projects, put them on the side and work only on my job. I did keep an eye of the modding help forum but i actually never thought about checking the discussion for this mod.... Soooo ya, i got some reading to do, probably a lot of it.


WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
For now, my rush is still happening, as stated previously my Christmas is coming, and it normally ends pretty much at the same time as the rush ends so as soon as my overload of work is done and i can finally get back to a more "Normalish" 8 hours of sleep per day instead of my current 3 to 4 hours per day... i will post an update in the discussion announcing it. I'm a gonna also try to see what happened to my notifications for this discussion, i don't know why it stopped but there must be a reason for it.

Sooo that's pretty much it. i'm pretty busy, i got some reading to do and will make an announcement as soon as i can start to work on the pack.[DOUBLEPOST=1448720879][/DOUBLEPOST]

Do you still have the assets? I'd be interested to add this to the next update.

As soon as you stop checking the thread, it stops giving you notifications. The forums suck. So if a post happens and it notifies you, if you dont check the thread then, it will stop sending you notifications. I check the "watched threads" section occasionally to see if it bugged out and I'm missing things going on in the threads.

So ya its a Chucklefish Forums bug.

 

that i know but my phone will always beep when someone posts in this discussion even if no one posted in 2 months. turns out i had de-activated my alerts for the app i use to track the board...

probably not with booze but i'm first gonna post a temporary update for the new stable version that should be arriving soon. The unstable just updated sooo... ya i need to work on that as quickly as possible, so don't expect any new stuff from the version upgrade update but i should post an update around Christmas that will add content.

 

So what're we getting? New ships?

 

not in the game version update but in the Chrismas one you can be assured the tier 4 (2 rooms) pony ship will be included

 

Just picked up this and CLeF to start my inaugural run, and I notived that the Nexus version of the pony modpack is a few versions behind (last updated in August). Any chance that the Nexus distro will be updated?

 

hey now the weapon system will change we might be able to implement scripted weapons AKA magic easier right?

tf2 medic 4 the win! seriouly though i'm thinking of doing my own starbound fanfic about the mlp vers and wanted to get ideas of what to wright in it since it's going to be about my florian science char meeting them before the lore of this mod happened.(fracken universe rocks!)

sorry was really late last night when i posted that. but you have to admit it's good for a few lols. but basically my florain char fernworrier is a science char from the fracken flora/universe mod and the idea was he found equis before the other floains did and was the one who helped protect the pony race from his kind (by promptly saying if his kind came to the planet attacking to attack with fire) was thinking the planet equis could be a semi radioactive planet because of the magic in the air/ground. finnaly he would show some of the ponies around some different planets i'm just trying to figure out what i should put the danger level for equis as.

 

I'm only going to point out one of those typos.

I know this may seem like a really weird question... but is there any way we can make it so stallions can have a small snout like mares do?
