Well, after defeating my laziness I finally finished my entry! Hope guys you like it. The Platewolf He mainly lives in forests close to advanced civilizations, but a few specimens are also found in naturally metal-rich areas. These are his favorite habitats because he mainly relies on his trademark, the metal plates, which he wears over his body! Making the Metal Plates He gathers metal from the junkyards at the edge of cities, and sometimes he even manages to gather pure iron ore! After taking it back to his burrow, he starts grinding the metal with his extraordinary strong teeth. By doing that, he forges strong metal plates, which he then attaches on his head, his shoulder and his back! After a short time, they grow together with his strong fur and can only be removed by shearing the wolf! The Platewolfes mainly travel in groups, so when one wolf is carrying some new metal to their burrow, the others can protect him! Hunting and Combat Normally, the wolves would hunt at daytime, but this changed throughout late history! As said before, these wolves prefer to live near civilization. So when they hunted at daytime, they often ran into humans and other advanced species, and conflicts broke out! However, since these animals were very smart, they started hunting at nighttime, and on the other side humans stopped crossing their territory! Most civilizations also tolerate these animals because they clean up the metal junk at the junkyards. However these animals can be very aggressive and should not be underestimated! Especially if their territory is trespassed! They possess combat abilities much greater than a normal wolf! Their most feared attack is the "Plate Roll"When about to execute this attack, they take a start, roll up like a sow bug and roll at their enemy at approximately 50 mph! This attack is able to inflict massive damage to their foe, often dealing the killing blow! Socialization The wolves live in packs from 6 up to 10, however some always stay at their shelter, guarding their territory. They value their comrades over everything and so, creating a social bond with one of them may be hard, but very rewarding, as they would offer their live to protect their friend! Also they are very proud and would never accept someone as their "owner" but rather as a "comrade"! Stats They normally live up to 25 years, but some rare speciments have even reached 40 years!Their plates can be sold at a very high price, because of the good quality of the metal! There have been reports of wolves, painting their plates with the pulp of fruits to uniform their clan, some packs have even been seen wearing silver or gold plates! Some scientists say, that they evolved from the wolves that used to live on planets around the 20th century! And that's pretty much it! Thank you for reading this! First off, I can't draw! Second, thank you for reading my entry, guys! You're really a great community, and that's mostly why I did this. (Also to get a free copy of the game, of course ) I tried to keep the idea simple and appealing at the same time since this game should be lighthearted and not too confusing. I really hope it isn't too simple, though. So please tell me what you think! And of course, good luck to all participants and thank you, Team Chucklefish!
Cool, Does it drop metal of some sort? It would be great as a pet/companion especially with the plateroll attack
