Setup 1 -Noble Hylotl, Star Sheriff, Glitch Knight, USCM Militant, The Dove, Occultist-bot, Penguin (Protector), Dreadwing, The King Penguin, Cultist Setup 4 -Noble Hylotl, Miniknog Interrogator, Glitch Knight, Killer Plant, The Dove, Occultist-bot, Penguin (Trooper), Penguin Investigator, Dreadwing, Cultist (Enforcer) yes you differentiated between setups one and four. so i eliminated all similars Setup 1 - Star Sheriff, USCM Militant, , Occultist-bot, Penguin (Protector), The King Penguin, Cultist Setup 4 -Miniknog Interrogator, Killer Plant, , Occultist-bot, Penguin (Trooper), Penguin Investigator, , Cultist (Enforcer) so then the cultist is dead, and there goes star sheriff as well USCM Militant, , Occultist-bot, Penguin (Protector), The King Penguin, so these are what is left
Guys, I know what went wrong. It's 1 and 5 instead of 1 and 4. What roles are different between them: Setup 1 -Noble Hylotl, Star Sheriff,Glitch Knight, USCM Militant, The Dove,Occultist-bot, Penguin (Protector),Dreadwing, The King Penguin,Cultist Setup 5 -Floran Hunter, Star Sheriff,Glitch Knight, USCM Militant, The Dove,Occultist-bot, Penguin (Protector),Dreadwing, Dreadwing,Cultist
Thank you for correcting me, MilkCalf. I should have rechecked the numbers before I posted that. So now that we have that out of the way, everybody noticed the fact that there was only one death last night, right? That means either the Knight took a hit, or the Hylotl protected someone. Hylotl, care to share your target?
i do not think that that is a good idea dusty. by the way, there were three kills available. maybe everyone went for dave?
Ok so we know the setup now apparently, unless any of you think alkane is wrong, personally I trust her, she's good at this game. Anyway, shouldn't we do the thing where we try to figure out peoples roles?

Well if we want to make some progress, then we need to guess what happened at night. And for the sake of this argument, I'm excluding the possibility of two night killers attacking the same person, despite it being a real possibility. Three was the maximum number of kills that could happen at night, yet only one person ended up dead in the morning. The penguins had a kill, the Cultist had a kill and the Militant had a kill. Unless Dave committed suicide, I doubt he would target himself, which means either the penguins or the Militant was the one to strike him down. Which goes back to my previous point of either the Glitch Knight was targeted, but not killed, or whoever was targeted was protected from attacks by the now dead Cultist and either the penguins or the Militant. We have two protective roles in this game, the Hylotl, and the penguin, as a protector. If we assume the Militant killed Dave, then that means the penguins targeted the Knight or a protected civilian, while they protected one of their own, and Dave attacked the protected penguin. Having Dave fess up this information though the Occultist would be helpful, but I'm unsure if he'd be willing to oblige us. On the other hand, if we assume the penguins killed Dave, then the Militant attacked a protected civilian, the Knight or the protected penguin, with Dave doing the same. While I understand that revealing roles sounds like a risky prospect, it's something that has aided us in the past, with the benefits exceeding the downfalls considerably. Knowing more roles is better than knowing less, always and knowing who not to target is as important as knowing who you should. There is only one night kill by the penguins now, and helping the Militant being able to cut them down would be better than leaving them in the dark. I'm going to ask again for the Hylotl, Dove, and now Militant to come forward.
The glitch knight and the dove are the two who would be safe to reveal themselves.. Maybe the occultist
The Occultist will reveal himself when it's necessary - if it ever is. It might not be wise for the Hylotl to reveal himself just yet, as there would be no other protective role to protect him. However, if the Militant does reveal himself, the Hylotl could then actually protect him without blocking his moves - isn't that nice? I don't know about the Dove. If the Glitch Knight was indeed targeted last night, revealing himself would explain to the targeter why he didn't die. This may be a good or a bad thing, depending on who targeted him.
Given how short this game will be, I think that the Hylotl revealing themselves wouldn't matter much. Yes, they would die, but the penguins can only off one of us per night, while two of them can potentially be removed thanks to the Militant. Since there are only three penguins to search for, and we can knock out two of them on our own, losing the Hylotl wouldn't be an issue, as by next morning, optimally there would only be one penguin left. So I say reveal, and the citizens have the upper hand. Also, considering that I am the Knight, it's probably a bad idea that I reveal that, considering that The Squid kinda vindicated me over the fact that I did nothing during the night. But is does provide an interesting dilemma for the penguins, now doesn't it?
