Ho dang, that gun building thing looks awesome

 

Working ingame - all gun recipes are being swapped over to this crafter. You'll have to find it in Peglaci villages at first, since you won't be able to craft it natively. Trying to lay groundwork so that eventually all races can get access to Peglaci equipment.

 

'Of course'

 

The Cryocondenser - creates snow and ice out of dirt and stuff! Lots of Peglaci recipes will require all kinds of ice and stuff, so you need a quick way of getting em'. The Condenser will pull moisture out of dirt at a crazy rate (10 dirt = 1 slush). Slush turns to snow, snow turns to ice, and ice turns to Ice Crystals, useful for a whole bunch of different things, including the pre-existing Geometric Furniture set.

Sorry if this has been said before, I didn't see it in the pages I read, but how do I upgrade my gun past durasteel. All the other recipes are showing up except the geyser shotgun 1 and guns in its tier.

 

You know, by now the Peglaci really deserve to be the number 1 race mod, so much more content (and polish too). I think the Avali getting all the votes early on when the community was still bustling have permanently jacked the ratings.

 

Hey, for what content ya did for the Avali mod made if more than worth it for the time too

 

Don't forget, someone made an add-on to the racial abilities mod for the Avali, plus there is that racial crossover mod that has both the Avali and the Peglaci in it, so I think they are sharing the fame.

 

Well my goodness, thanks for the great compliment! The fact of the matter is that without your mod mine wouldn't exist - so much of the original learning how to do stuff was gleaned from looking at your mod. Furthermore, until at least villages are in, this still isn't complete in my mind, and I'll still be using your mod as a base for how to do that!

 

For some reason, when I see the peglaci furniture, my first thought was 'Tundra Chozo'. It hs the tundra feel of the Peglaci, and the advanced tech of the chozo!

 

Ha, I can see that. Not intentional, but I still like the comparison !

 

Hey, i have no clue if someone already pointed that out, but it could be great to actually have the Peglaci guns Dyeable, and maybe fix how the railgun looks ( It's slightly... I dunno how to say that, but it doesn't look right. I mean, it's a bit too " down " See here : http://puu.sh/apybH/a74d061d7f.jpg ) and to also fix something wierd sickness among the Peglacis (? Peglacies ? Huh... I don't even know. ) localised in their arms, when they hold a dagger, or any one-handed weaponry ( See here : http://puu.sh/apyr7/6e31d08c49.jpg Also, when i first saw this, i yelled " OH MY GOD ! MY ARM ! " and it was still funny. )
Although, those bugs might come from one of my mods installed ( And by the way, i have both Avali and peglaci, they are both my favourite races, thanks to you two, you did an amazing job. )

Anyways, great mod, great stuff, i'll look foward for dem updates, thanks to you. Also, sorry if my english is fishy, i'm french~.

Edit 1 : About the railgun, i meant it's a bit too low, compared to the hands and, i think it could look better if it was a bit like the Avali's lasers. ( See here : http://puu.sh/apAXC/9d3ec18db2.jpg )

 

Hey, thanks for the suggestions! Let's take a look:
1) Dyeable guns - I'd love to, but as far as I know guns can't currently be dyed (at least, not the way these guns are set up, since the charge animation they have makes them a bit odd compared to normal randomized guns). If I can figure it out, you can be sure I'll add it!
2) Weird dagger disease! - Ha, yeah, I don't like how that looks either, I'll see if I can fix that!
3) Railgun location - This one at least I can say I MEANT it to look like that - if I move it too much higher you lose part of the charging animation near the butt of the gun.
4) Fishy english - Je parles francais aussi bien qu'anglais, mais ca fait plusieurs annees que j'ai eu raison pour l'ecrire. Tu peut m'ecrire en francais, si tu veux - bonne pratique. Pardonnez mon grammaire!

 

Haha~ Thanks for the answer, and yeah, i saw about the little animation on the railgun ( Which is probably my favourite upgrade so far, since it can both mine and kill monsters for you~. ), and i though about the fact that i could be meant to be like this.
Also, about writing english, i don't mind speaking it, i'm used to speak, and write it ( Since a ( French ) friend of mine always use the english, even if we're both french, i don't even know why, but hey, i'm training it cause' of him. ), so yeah, it doesn't annoy me to write or speak it ( Well, i have a bad accent, but that's just me. )
About the guns, yeah, it'd be sweet if you could add it, i'd love too, every Peglaci weapon could be unique in their colors, and with the armor of their owner, but if it's impossible, well, it doesn't matter, it's still a great mod~. It's sweet to see that you're still answering to suggestions, i like it. hope you can find a vaccine for the Peglaci, the Giants seems to be limited in medical science !
Well, you guys made me want to make a mod, too, i'll try to learn how to make one !

 

I try downloading this and I get to the download page but every time I click download I get taken to a blank Internet Explorer page. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to get a mod manager for this site?

 

I really help with your mod. How do i even obtain higher tiers of the weapons? I have searched and done everything i could think of for 8-10 hours.

What do i do?

 

Crafting the techtree items up to Durasteel will unlock the next version of the standard pistol, and then from there each techtree update will let you start getting the newer firearm variants.

 

What is the Techtree exactly?

 

There's the default 'tech up' items that you need to use to unlock more of the generic recipes. The first 5 or so require the boss drops, while the rest use a bunch of the ores from the various X Sector levels. Starmap upgrades I believe the earlier ones are called
