    Oh darn, that's a shame! But good luck with that, I'll still try to keep an eye on this stuff when I can. =)

    EDIT: Oops, I forgot to mention - I made a compatibility patch between this mod and a custom ship AI I've posted. If you have issue with that, I can take it down - I should have asked beforehand, but I wasn't really thinking at the time. D'oh.

    It doesn't function without the Orcana installed as well, though, and links back to this mod.

    It just allows you to use your ship AI with an Orcana character? Nah, that's cool. No worries.

    Did you fix the bug with Orcana dialog? I keep getting errors about unsuccessful patches when I start the game using the last version of the mod.

    This is the first I'm hearing about that error. I haven't seen it on my end. Does it give you any indication of which patch file is causing it?

    It does, but I can't remember the whole thing. I just recall it being an issue with a patch not applying, having to do with dialog and Orcana/hail ?

    Well, I'll dig through it and see what I can find. If you can get me the details sometime that would be a big help. Thanks for letting me know.

    The only patch file that currently has a reference to a hail path is friendlyguard.npctype.patch in the Orcana\npcs folder. I don't see any issue with that file, but try deleting it and see if you still get the error. If so, you may have a stray patch file left over from a previous version that needs to be removed.

    Orcana compatibility for Madtulip's Spaceship Mod

    Granted it doesn't have any of the Orcana ship components (it uses the Hylotl ship from the mod). Creating assets for another mod isn't a priority for me at the moment considering I have yet to complete my Orcana race mod...

    Okay, so I am still having that issue with the aforementioned patch file but that is not important at the moment.

    If you get a chance, could you change spawnerorcana.recipe in \Orcana\recipes\spawner\ to cost 5 Steel Bars instead of 20? I am going to release an update for my Recipe Reorganization mod that re-enables the Employer Station and its recipes, as well as decreasing their cost, and the Orcana Spawner recipe does not match. 20 bars has always been too much, in my opinion, especially now since spawners have viable competition in Colony Deeds.

    I still don't understand what's going on with that error you're getting. It may be a conflict with another mod. I would recommend backing up your mods folder, installing a fresh version of just the Orcana mod (and of course a character select mod), and then running Starbound with just that and see what happens. Let me know how it goes.

    Also, I went ahead and changed that recipe. Being that the spawner has become pretty obsolete I didn't mind. I was actually thinking about removing it entirely, but since it's not hurting anything and you asked nicely I decided to keep it in with that recipe change. It'll be in the next update.

    UPDATED TO GLAD GIRAFFE!
    • Armor is in line with current vanilla stats
    • Weapons will be getting the new combat treatment in a future update
    • Finally removed Human starter clothes from character creation options
    • Changed the all-but-obsolete spawner recipe to require 5 steel instead of 20 per Mackinz's mod compatibility request
    If you come across anything that I missed when updating for Glad Giraffe please let me know. Thank you!

    Remember, before updating to the new version of the mod be sure to delete the old one first.

    I love this race. but I'm having an issue with tenants since I included this mod. specifically I was testing things with the "random villager" tenant in my game where all I have is a light and a door, without the orcana race mod it works fine, with the mod no tenant appears. I've tested this even with the Orcana as my only mod and still have the problem. I'm using the current stable of Glad Giraffe. any advice?

    Thanks for the heads-up. In all honesty I haven't yet refined that part of the code. I was hoping it was working properly, but given this new info I'm going to make sure that it's working for the next update.

    UPDATE:

    Good news! It turns out that my code was fine after all. Chucklefish just made some minor changes with the colony tag code. It was an easy fix. I'm currently working on the tiered pistol type weapons. I'll go ahead and post an update later today (12/18) that includes the colony fix, tiers 0-4 of the guns (5-10 are there, but just placeholders for now) and various other updates.

    I believe I just found the issue causing this error:

    I went and moved all my mods except for the Orcana mod, then added the Avali (Triage) mod back in. Error found.

    Notice anything different? I do. It deleted everything important to friendlyguards interacting with any player.

    I will go report this bug in the Avali (Triage) thread.

    This thing is -soooo- starbound. And the greeko-roman motiff is something I really think is needed to be added to the Starbound world. I wish Chucklefish would tack this onto the game once everything's all done.
